Elemental Focus can be used in either of two ways. Most of the time it is used by wizards and other classes for an increase in their bolt AS. It can also be used as an attack spell to lower the physical AS of a creature (or adventurer) by 40.

It is usually not used by War Mages due to its negative effect on physical AS.

Bonus

The bonus given to bolt AS is +20 with an addition +1 given for every 2 major elemental spells known over 513 capped at caster's level.

Bonus bolt AS = +20 + (MjE spells over 13 /2 )

Messaging

Initial cast:

You bristle with energy.

Wearing off:

You no longer bristle with energy.
