Faewood is cherished by Imaera and is a preferred wood for fashioning holy items. The tree is quite tall and has a circular branch-system. In the spring the faewood is festooned with upright clusters of beautiful and fragrant white flowers - so fragrant, in fact, that one can locate a tree from far off simply by following the wondrous scent.
The leaves of the faewood tree are dark green with short stalks; the brown to grey bark perfectly smooth. In season the trees bear a pale brown fruit that contains glistening brown seeds. The seeds are known for their healing properties, however they must be prepared correctly as the seeds are normally poisonous.
