We are thrilled to invite you to the inaugural S. P. E. C. T. R. E. (Sorcerers, Practitioners, Enchanters, Conjurers, Thaumaturges, Researchers, and Evokers) and S. H. A. D. O. W.  (Seers, Hypnotists, Astrologers, Diviners, Occultists, Witches) Convention of 5124, an exclusive gathering dedicated to the mystical arts.  This year's convention will be held at the enchanting Evermore Hollow Hotel in the realm of Naidem.

Join us for a weekend filled with enlightenment, enchantment, and camaraderie.  The S. P. E. C. T. R. E. and S. H. A. D. O. W. Convention will feature distinguished speakers, engaging workshops, and the opportunity to network with fellow practitioners of the arcane.

Welcome Reception (10:30 PM EDT): A light affair and social hour where you can mingle with fellow attendees before retiring to your rooms.

Welcome Package

a yarn-tied river naiquard package emblazoned with an Evermore Hollow Hotel sigil

A yarn-tied river naiquard package emblazoned with an Evermore Hollow Hotel sigil is a parcel meant for sending items to other adventurers.  It is addressed to Name from Blodeuyn.  Affixed to the front is a small light pink stamp marking the package as a piece of mail, but the stamp appears to have been used already.

Parchment

a textured ebon papyrus parchment


Crafted of textured papyrus, the parchment is decorated with silver and gold filigree in each of its corners.  Crimson and saffron marigolds rest within the filigree, the bright blossoms adding a touch of autumn hues to the otherwise dark parchment.  Crisp, tidy letters fill the center.

We are excited about your stay with us, and have put together a small welcome package.  Please make sure to read this letter in its entirety as it has important information regarding your attendance of the S. P. E. C. T. R. E. and S. H. A. D. O. W. Conference.

Enclosed you will find your hotel key.  When traveling from the lobby to your suite, you must GIVE this key to our clockwork platform operator.  This will enable him to better ferry you to your suite.

We have also included a bundle of coffin nails.  This bundle provides you access to the Ballroom, Dining Room, and Library where the bulk of the conference will take place.  Without it, you won't be able to get into these rooms.

Since the hotel is aware that many of our guests are from the realms of the living, we've also enclosed a mask for you.  This will ensure that you are kept safe during your stay and that the Unliving around you, who are not as forgiving as we are, don't recognize you.

Upon arriving at the hotel, please head to the main lobby and through the FEL DOOR.  The Welcome Reception will take place in the library.

Our maid, Elaarah, will be there, along with other members of our staff, to greet you as you arrive.  Elaarah will take groups of guests up to the suites and guide you to your rooms.  You are welcome to rejoin us in the library at your leisure or retire for the evening.

Notecard

a skull-embossed niveous notecard


Soft, thick vellum is used to create a skull-embossed niveous notecard, with a smooth, velvety texture that's cool to the touch.  In the center, a raised skull is embossed, showcasing intricate details -- hollow eyes and a faint grin etched in fine relief.  On the back, elegant calligraphy flows in graceful, black inked strokes.  The dark, flowing script contrasts with the pale vellum, each letter slightly raised, adding a subtle tactile sensation to the refined design.

All sessions will be conducted on your hotel floor within the Sitting Room.
You can find the sitting room on your floor by going through the doors in the clockwork platform lobby.

Key

a verdigris copper hotel key

Perched upon a spindled shank with six knobs, the bow of the key is decoratively designed to resemble a vacant-eyed skull wreathed in marigolds.  A patina of verdigris lightens the copper, turning it whitish green in places and offering a bit of texture to the round blossoms.  Etched into the metal above the collar is a short script, while below the ward is cut with a series of crescent shapes.

Nails

a cluster of hemp-tied coffin nails


Bundled together and bound by hemp, the square-cut, unfinished nails have a blackened and flat head.  Corrosion is prevalent from the top to the rounded end, though a small inscription is clearly visible along the flat sides of each.  A yellowed wren skull is tied to the bundle, the black hemp used to hold it in place traversing both sclerotic rings.
