Biography
Reynairra is a native of the seaside town Mist Harbor, where she lived with her parents, a dockworker and a seamstress. Her father was killed when Reynairra was ten years old by invading krolvin, and then a year afterward, Reynai was kidnapped by a Sheruvian initiate named Pashtal, who terrorized her with a ritual meant to use her fear to power a portal for the Nightmare Lord. To this end, he tortured and killed Reynai's mother, and subjected her to nightmarish visions until she was so traumatized she blinded herself in an attempt to banish the illusions. She was found and rescued by adventurers, including Brother Kothos Blud, a kindly Ivasian priest, who took her to the Vipershroud Temple, where several of his Order were experienced in treating those who suffered magical curses. There she received healing, counseling and care, and in the meantime, Kothos and the other Mist Harbor defenders managed to defeat Pashtal when the Sheruvian attempted to open the portal, and the backlash of energy incinerated him. Reynai was invited by Kothos to stay with him, and being orphaned, she agreed. Within a few weeks, the two were so bonded she not only trusted him enough to allow him to restore her sight, she agreed to be adopted by him, and lives with him to this day.
Reynai and her foster father have since moved to a home in Solhaven, where she attends school, and has quickly caught up with the other children, despite lacking a formal education up to that point. She is very fond of folk tales and myths, and has a large collection of toy knights, animals, dolls and playsets where she and her friends stage some of their favorite stories.

She is wearing a polished wooden necklace made from interlocking blocks, a silver knitting needle pin tipped with a tiny ruby, a cable-knit green sweater with triangular patterns, a knitted grass green and turquoise satchel slung over her shoulder, a mithril charm bracelet, an inverted brass blossom chatelaine, some gradient knitted garter-stitched jade celadon starsilk leggings, and a pair of knitted seafoam green and coral orange socks under a pair of sanguine samite boots covered with tiny multi-hued bells.
Associations
Reynai has also devoted herself to learning elementalism, and has become quickly proficient in energy manipulation- particularly fire and earth. She is anticipating the opening of a Wizard's Guild in Solhaven, where she hopes to learn even more ways to hone her talents. She enjoys both her academic and magical studies, and feels that between them both, she will never become a victim again.
