A small statue contains the spell Spirit Guard (1712). This magic creates a "faint silvery glow" around the one's body.

Rub the statue to initiate the magic (no magic item activation skill is required). However, having ranks in MIU does increase the duration.
The magic within increases one's defensive strength by +25.
Each statue contains two to five charges.
