Lightning mote is a creature ability that releases a volley of lightning into the immediate area. It uses the standard maneuver roll to determine success.
The motes are drawn to metal, and characters wearing metallic armor (ASG 11+) are more susceptible to this maneuver.
An Ithzir adept spreads her arms wide, then claps her hands together sharply, releasing a wave of crackling motes into the air! You leap to the side as you try to avoid the effulgent volley! You stumble as you try to avoid a sparkling mote, falling to ground just as it hits you with a powerful jolt! ... 75 points of damage! Immense electrical bolt finds right eye the perfect conductor to ground out in. A shocking death indeed.
