Mounts are conveyance animals such as horses. A much hoped for and highly anticipated addition to the game, they were introduced in 2019 at Rumor Woods.

Summoning Item

Mounts are manipulated by their summoning item. Horses currently have reins and tortoises have leads.

>anal rein
You analyze your ebon leather reins and sense that the item cannot be altered in any way.

The creator has also provided the following information:
This is a summoning item and will currently summon: a tall golden stallion, which is a mountable creature that has the following characteristics:

Height: just over 17 hands
Face: a wide-eyed
Ears: pert
Forelock: a wavy
Body: a tall
Coat: a lustrous
CoatColor: golden
Mane: a glossy
ManeQuirk: woven with button hunter braids
TailQuirk: a plaited
TailColor: black
Unique: None set

This summoning item cannot be altered in any way.

USAGE: HOLD (refresh HOME timer - must be in same room), PULL, WAVE (summon mount)

Mounts cannot be:
- summoned while inside.
- ridden inside or in water.
- used while in combat. You will be knocked off your mount if you are attacked and may be unable to mount the creature for a short time after combat has ended.

Mounts will:
- return to their "home" (either permanent or otherwise) if they are summoned and not mounted within 10 minutes. (HOLD reins to refresh.)
- return to their "home" (either permanent or otherwise) if they are slapped by the owner/summoner.
- remain in their permanent "home" (if you have purchased a stall) indefinitely.
- return to your side if summoned in an appropriate location, regardless of where you left them.

You get no sense of whether or not the reins may be further lightened.

Summoning Item Messaging

Reins:

hold reins
[You have refreshed the HOME timer on your mount.]
pull reins
Gripping firmly with both hands, you move your clenched fists together and then yank them back, pulling some glossy ebon leather reins taut with a loud "T H W A P"!

Mount:

Push (while mounted):
Issuing a subtle command, you pull lightly on your reins and a tall golden stallion drops gracefully to one knee in the equivalent of an equestrian bow.
Hug:
Stepping close to a tall golden stallion, you throw your arms around his neck and hug him. In response, the stallion lays his chin against your back and pulls you closer.

Appearance

You see a tall golden stallion.
He stands just over 17 hands at the withers. He has a tall body with a lustrous golden coat. He has a wide-eyed face, a wavy forelock, and pert ears. He has a glossy mane woven with button hunter braids, and a plaited black tail.
