Bag of Holding was originally released during the June 2018 run of Duskruin Arena. This container is designed to allow storage of a large number of items within a single space, whether on a character or within a locker, mechanically similar to a container in a player run shop. In doing so, one is able to exceed normal limits on items held by a character or within their locker. The pieces to create a Bag of Holding are found only in the Bank Heist. For the August 2023 run of Duskruin, parts were placed on sale in Certifiable.

Assembly

A treasure box is the first required item to obtain on your quest for a Bag of Holding. All 12 stolen goods are placed into this box for the item to be created.

Found at: [The Ophidian Cabal, Leader - 27159]

>ask ringleader for box
An Ophidian Cabal ringleader asks, "In need of a storage container for those stolen goods? I can loan one to you as long as you promise to return it to me filled with items from the bank's vault. Just ask me again about the box within 30 seconds to receive one."

>ask ringleader for box
An Ophidian Cabal ringleader pulls a treasure box from beneath an oversized dark wooden desk and hands it to you. "Here you go. Fill it up for me, and I will reward you for your efforts."

Treasure Box Analyze

>analyze box
You analyze your treasure box and sense that the item cannot be altered in any way.

The creator has also provided the following information:
This treasure box is a container designed to hold stolen goods from Bloodriven Village. It will hold one each of 12 stolen goods, as well as a special blood crystal. Once you have found all 12 items, speak with the ringleader inside his hideout.

Please note that once you place an item inside this box, it cannot be removed.

You get no sense of whether or not the box may be further lightened.

Stolen Goods

Stolen Goods Bloodscrip Description
an aged ebonwood mandolin 10 Pristinely maintained, this ancient instrument is formed of highly polished ebonwood and preserved beneath a slightly chipped veneer. Elegant scrollwork frames the pegboard, which gracefully transitions to the fingerboard and rounded box of the soundboard. Six strings grace the neck, their anchors flat-headed pegs of rosewood.
an oak-framed storm-tossed painting 10 Housed in a simple oak frame, the painted canvas depicts a storm-ravaged sea where a boat is tossed about by high waves. Off-white sails are maintained by a pair of mustached men, while a third voyager clutches an incredibly long oar. Clustered in the bow are other men who have turned their attention upon a radiant-haloed man that bears a striking resemblance to Phoen.
an obsidian monkey-shaped vase 10 Inky black and polished to a reflective sheen, this pot-bellied vase is a cultural relic of Sylvan design. Spindled limbs protrude from its rounded body, the lower pair giving the impression of a monkey squatting, while the upper pair clutches at the lip of the vessel as if the tiny creature is carrying the vase on its back. The monkey's small face is frozen in an expression of toil, and a long, curving tail is decidedly similar to that of a spider monkey.
an ornate whalebone pipe 12 Crafted of a single piece of yellowed, ivory-hued whalebone, the decorative pipe is a marvel of scrimshaw design and functionality. The thick body is fashioned in the image of a cruise ship, its many tiers painstakingly detailed to display tiny windows, reclining chairs, and filigreed railings. Incredibly bulky in shape, the pipe narrows to a thin mouthpiece formed of walrus tusk.
a quaint filigree-framed portrait 12 Garish and rudimentary, the simple portrait is framed in a brassy filigree of scrolling vines and overlarge leaves. Abstract trees provide an unimpressive backdrop to a simple boy sitting upon a stool with his head propped on his hand, which is in turn supported by a grey table. The brightest part of the piece is the ornate red waistcoat that the child is wearing.
a water-stained grey vellum manuscript 12 Scrolling penmanship decorates the vellum manuscript, its ink faded in places by age and worn smooth by handling. A rendition of "The Flight to Home" is printed upon the greying surface, though it bears the markings of an original transcription of the famous Illistim poem. Numerous words have been scratched out and replaced with those of the more classically known piece.
an oily kobold-filled painting 15 Dusky grey driftwood forms a lopsided frame around a rectangular canvas that is covered in oil-based paints. Haphazardly rendered within the confines is the image of a frontier bank illuminated by a mixture of moonlight and starlight. Hazy torchlight brightens the alleys, but the heart of the piece seems to be painted in grey scale and depicts a scraggly gang of kobolds attempting to carry an enormous bank vault down a cobbled street.
an ornate diamond-drop ferroniere 15 Twisting and twining in a labyrinthine pattern of eahnor and vaalorn wire, the ferroniere is pristinely polished and delicately chained. Dozens of teardrop-shaped diamonds cascade from the delicate curves of tiny hammered leaves, the elegant display resembling dewdrops upon newly unfurled petals.
an oversized bronze war rat statue 15 Cast in bronze, the statue depicts an aged war rat that is incredibly muscled and long of tail. The sculptor has taken great pains to give the eyes an intelligent cast, while also molding the metal into razor-sharp points at the exceedingly long claws.
a fragile painted egg 20 Pearly white veneer preserves this fragile peacock egg that is decorated with bright blue and purple flowers. A crown of gold foil formed of twisting ivy vines is decorated with incredibly tiny zircons.
a gold-plated lead falcon 20 Gold plating, partially flaking from the curves around the base to reveal dull, grey lead, lends the regal falcon statue a brassy appearance that is at once charming and garish.
a pair of glittering ruby slippers 20 Modest heels are joined to a simple, dainty sole to form the sturdy base for the delicate slippers. Crushed rubies create a glittering display across the sides, heel, and toe of the footwear and reflect the ambient light in a dazzling display. Tiny remnants of black and white striped stockings appear to line the interior.
a multifaceted blood crystal 10,000

Minor Bag of Holding

After placing all twelve stolen goods into your treasure box, you can SHOW the treasure box to the Ophidian Cabal ringleader, and it will be transformed into a treasure chest.

You just stored the twelfth piece! You should go speak with the Ophidian Cabal ringleader, and SHOW him your treasure box.

>show box to ringleader
"Well, I'll be a banker's bosom!" exclaims an Ophidian Cabal ringleader. "I can't believe you found them all! Sure, I had high hopes for you, Alastir, but this goes above and beyond all my expectations! I'll just take that full box and give you this, instead. I'm sure you'll have no trouble filling it with your own treasures."

An Ophidian Cabal ringleader takes your filled box and shoves an empty treasure chest into your hand. He smiles proudly and pats you on the shoulder.

Minor Bag of Holding Analyze

>analyze chest
You analyze your treasure chest and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "There do not seem to be any specific limitations."

Major Bag of Holding

If you are fortunate enough to find a multifaceted blood crystal, you can go back to the ringleader to obtain a large treasure sack with a blood crystal clasp, this is a Major Bag of Holding. The multifaceted blood crystal is as rare as a golvern segment is for MoonShard pendants.

>ask ringleader about crystal
An Ophidian Cabal ringleader says, "You got your paws on a blood crystal? Well, then... you're the kind of worker I'm after. I'll keep my word and reward you handsomely for bringing me that crystal. Here, let me unburden you of that, and in return, I'll trade you a final time, and give you a sack that has a special clasp on it. It'll only take a moment, and if you have anything stored, I'll be sure to move it over to the new container."

With that, the ringleader takes both the crystal and the chest from you, pockets the crystal and pulls a sack from beneath an oversized dark wooden desk. "See? I said only a moment, and it wasn't a minute longer. I believe you'll find this most versatile. Return to me if you find more."

Hold the container in your right hand, and make sure you've got enough redeemed bloodscrip to cover the cost. I'll get you fixed up right away."
