Holiday Giftwagons/2022

The Holiday Giftwagons are a caravan of giftwagons that travels Elanthia, with their first visit in the winter of 2022. The first town visited was River's Rest along the Merchant's Walk (room 10846, u2101009) where they remained for a month-visit before departing for Amaranth Court (room 3493, u14100007) in the Elven Nations. The 2022 caravan included a cookie cart, postal supply store, spirit store, and gift wrap wagon. Additionally, a yarn shop joined the caravan on its journey to the Elven Nations, as did a candy cane rack, and a candle shop.

Not all shops were present in all locations for the Holiday Giftwagons. While not formally part of the Holiday Giftwagons, the Yarn Barn's opening in the Elven Nations coincided with the mini-festival and is included here as many associated the two with one another.

The Holiday Giftwagons will be around November 2 - December 31, 2022.

Information

Lady Oirisu contributed a Foraged Item Prop of a wreath of fragrant pine needles and metallic ornaments to the caravan. It contained several items:

You gaze at a wreath of fragrant pine needles and metallic ornaments with a practiced eye, noting that you could probably harvest a pale-speckled snowball hydrangea, a white-berried vert mistletoe sprig, a red-striped pale amaryllis flower, a velvety scarlet red poinsettia, a fan-petaled niveous paperwhite, a sugar-dusted vermilion cranberry, and a sharp-edged glossy holly leaf.

The Boo-Wery

The narrow wagon has been decorated with tall curtains of green-on-ebon tartan, the excess fabric neatly folded upon the wood-planked floor below. A lacquered mahogany tray encircled by sprigs of holly sits at the center of the room, displayed upon an overturned barrel branded with the name "Fryzel". A display of carefully stacked ceramic steins flanks either side of the barrel, each unique drinking vessel painted with a variety of landscapes.

Fearing for my life, I sat as still as possible, although I could sense that...bear detecting my scent.  I was jostled more than once as participants and guests manhandled the contraption, but I did catch some names and words, hoping in earnest that I could recreate some of these potions.
Perhaps they were created for more nefarious purposes, but I must find my way back to the Gate soon.  This popcorn is delicious.

A trio of carved wooden trees decorates the far wall of the stall, crafted from planks of ivory-washed jadewood and wrapped in colorful velvet ribbons. A two-tiered white pine stand sits above a soft bearskin rug, the second shelf containing a frosted lapis glass bowl wrapped in a knitted ivory paeline scarf, the floor below it scattered with glinting bits of confetti.

The wood-planked walls of the wagon are covered in hand-penned parchments and sheets of vellum, interspersed with colorful sketchings and watercolor renderings framed in bamboo. Several blanket-cradled containers are nestled between curios filled with knickknacks, each piece of furniture adorned with a variety of faded stamps.

The low-roofed wagon's walls are painted in a dizzying array of gold and purple harlequin patterns, the diamonds curving and wending about the walls to create a disorienting optical illusion that makes them appear warped and skewed. Bright brass shelves climb from floor to ceiling on the far wall, stacked neatly with gaily colored wrapping papers and gift boxes, while a hammered brass bucket piled high with ribbons in a dazzling assortment of hues sits just inside the door.
