Jaboz Cannfort

Jaboz Cannfort was the first Commander of the Citadel, a fortress near the town of River's Rest in present day County of Torre.

Under the collapse of the Kannalan Empire in 3961, Cannfort assumed command of the remaining forces in the Kingdom of Elanith. By brilliant leadership, he slowed, then halted, the humanoid barbarians who had overwhelmed the empire. The Commander refused offers to assume the throne of the kingdom to remain in command of the Citadel's forces. It was under Cannfort's orders that three of the four great bridges that connected the island town of River's Rest to the shores of the Tempest River.

Cannfort committed suicide after he received crippling injury in battle in the year 3964.
