Shield Strike is a shield specialization maneuver allowing you to strike your opponent with your shield (causing an unbalance critical) and follow up with a melee attack. The effectiveness of the initial unbalancing strike is equal to the effectiveness of your Shield Bash, with a -20 penalty at rank 1 of Shield Strike that is reduced by 5 per additional rank until reaching full effectiveness at rank 5. The damage dealt is 5 points per critical rank, rather than the normal critical damage.
