1. Lost in time. That was the Spider for conversion to the Web, no?

No, I'm pretty sure those just showed up on your person when you first logged in after the move. The first giftboxes I actually remember were the ones in 2003 with the profession items. In the article, the first listing was merely (1. ?) so I changed it to (1. Currently lost to time.) I'm not sure whether there was one or not, but no, pretty sure it wasn't the spider charm.--ECHEAUX (talk) 10:17, 4 January 2020 (CST)

Do we need a list of the giftbox profession items then? Firephoenix (talk)

The 15th anniversary items

The 15th anniversary items listed on the main giftbox page didn't come from a giftbox. Those were from a portal. That news article can still be accessed at https://web.archive.org/web/20021022171546/http://www.play.net/GS3/ --ECHEAUX (talk) 20:35, 4 February 2020 (CST)

Could we make a "Gifts from the gods" (unsure of title) page with these sections:
  • Items Delivered Via GIFTBOX (verb) (this section would replace the current article's Examples section and contain the same/more info to be transcluded)
  • Items Appearing Mysteriously (spider charms and other items that appeared on your character or dropped into their hands from the sky)
  • Items Delivered Via Special Portal (like the 15th anniversary gift)
I can think of two reasons to make such a page (except needs a better title ):
  • To quickly disseminate information to confused players about the latest "gift from the gods"
  • To preserve this information in a timeline/list for historic reasons and for those who just enjoy reminiscing
Does such a page already exist? If not, what is a good title for such a page? All input is much appreciated. I know this message concerns more than just this GIFTBOX (verb) page but I think it MOSTLY concerns this page, due to how giftboxes delivered via the GIFTBOX (verb) seem to be the way of the future... which is why I put my response here. Thanks. -Soliere FIRENSIA (talk) 03:54, 11 February 2020 (CST)
