The Papermaker's Postcard is a postcard that can be sent via the mail system. It can have a stamp applied to it directly and be sent without having to be placed inside of an envelope or package. Postcards are associated with a location or event and are themed around them.

Postcards have two sides. The front face includes an image or illustration featuring the location or event, while the back face has a blank space suitable for a written message. A postcard has a maximum character limit of 510 characters for a written message. To write using a postcard, hold the postcard in one hand and a writing implement in the other and use the format of WRITE POSTCARD;<message>. Carriage returns can be added manually by inserting "|" for each line break. Two "||" are needed to create a space between paragraphs. A postcard will be automatically "signed" with the character's mark after the written message, referencing the author's first name. Only the original author can use CLEAN to erase a written message to allow for fixing any mistakes. Postcards will always feature, "Greetings from Location/Event!" on the front face.

Postcards can be written in any known language. Use SPEAK <language> before writing anything to set the language for the entire sheet of paper.

Postcards are sometimes sold at events or as souvenirs in different locations around Elanthia, such as in Solhaven's Solindago Anox nature preserve. Postcards can also be made via a Tier 3 Papermaker, which automatically creates the postcard's base description, front image, and greeting message based on the location where the Papermaker was used to make it.
