| Austere and cramped, the room is lined on two sides with wooden shelving. Through the middle of the room, a simple cotton rug provides some covering for the rough hewn wood floor as a silver-latticed lantern overhead provides lighting. Against the back wall, a set of stairs leads up to a carved oak doorway, while a gilded ironwood chest rests upon a small platform in the open space beneath them. You also see an ebony-framed door of frosted celadon glass and a trapdoor. | |

Apartment

| Bright and airy colors in this room counterbalance the darkly stained oak floors and dim light filtering in through a broad mullioned oriel window flanked by a pair of sconces. On opposite walls, a carved white door and a carved light blue door lead to adjoining rooms while the center is devoted to entertaining guests. Some cerulean crescent-shaped sofas and a whitewashed driftwood table serve as a comfortable seating area, while a large glass aquarium divides it from the entry area. - Sitting upon a heavy monir base, the aquarium has been built with a granite base bearing a small plaque and thick glass walls. Along the bottom, a colorful array of gravel has been smoothed and topped with a fanciful grey castle. Within, a tray of pale faewood spans a grid of shallow compartments with evenly stacked dividers.

Study
| [Marrowtide, Study] | |
| The darkly stained white oak flooring from the living quarters continues into this study where a carved mahogany desk and velvet-backed chair dominate the center of the room. Behind the desk, a large city map has been hung on the bright blue wall between a pair of sconces. The walls on either side of the desk are lined with white bookcases containing books dedicated to various historical and nautical pursuits. | |
| Obvious exits: east | |
>look map
- Scalloped bronze frames a hand drawn and aged map of Solhaven from prior to the Cataclysm. The streets and important locations have been artfully labeled with flowing script and throughout the map, small dotted lines connect related businesses - butchers and bakers to restaurants and grocers, tanners and weavers to clothiers. A central, red-marked point on the map serves as a nexus for many of the lines, though the name has been seemingly omitted.
>look bookcases

- Muted sounds from the rest of the apartment barely penetrate the study's relaxing sanctuary.
Bath

Behind the bath, a sea blue tile wall rises from floor to ceiling to accent the room's otherwise plain white walls. In the corner, an oxidized hanging cresset cradling a blue opaline glass basin above a round glass washbowl provides a soft glow to the space, the oil releasing a sweet orange blossom aroma when it burns. You also see a sea-mist tiled garderobe supported by oxidised kelp pilasters and a carved white door.
| Obvious exits: none | |
>look cresset

Clumps of calathea and monstera fill the spaces between the flowers, creating layers of tropical greenery. Twisted pandanus trees flank a tall latticework archway before spreading out to mark the edges of the clearing, their stilt-like roots forming natural barriers along a seashell path.

Grotto
| [Marrowtide, Grotto] | |
| As the oldest part of the black basalt edifice, this large open space is dark and drafty. Four carved-out pillars reach to the high ceiling, providing most of the area's lighting from the luminous moss that gathers on their surface. The floor is thick, clear glass revealing a reef aquarium beneath. The ocean life inhabitants are only seen from the intense, blue glow of bioluminescent algae and firefly squid. Centered in the middle of the room is a verdigris octopus fountain, its basin a sunken hexagonal pool glowing with the same algae. You also see a high trapdoor reachable via a winding staircase.
Obvious exits: northeast
>look aquarium

Bright white sand littered with discarded shells flows beneath the vibrant coral reef and reflects the bioluminescent glow providing an eerie light to the surrounding area.
>thump aquarium
- >You lean down and thump the glass above the aquarium. Sea life scatters in all directions and disappears into the coral reef, leaving the aquarium empty and lifeless.
>look fountain
- Perched above a sunken hexagonal pool, this richly patinaed copper octopus rises high above the basin. Each of the eight, expertly detailed arms curls upward from an edge of the pool and sprays a brightly glowing jet of water inward onto itself.
>look pool
- Sunken into the thick glass floor, this pool glows brightly with blue bioluminescent algae and is nearly indistinguishable from the aquarium below.
Grotto Ambients
- An uncomfortable ripple of darkness flows through the soft glow filling the area as something high above and unseen settles among the moss.
- The soft bubbling sound of the fountain echoes around the chamber, magnified by the near perfect acoustics.
- The pungent scent of brine wrinkles your nose as a particularly large jet of seawater splashes against the fountain and over the edges of the pool.
Niima’s Niche
| [Marrowtide, Niima’s Niche] | |
| Ensconced amid thick strands of luminous moss, a wrought iron candelabra hangs from the domed ceiling, while sinusoidal black basalt walls create an illusion of undulating enormity within the small space. Oxidized copper dolphin heads protrude from myriad recesses, staggered by distance and height, allowing their parted mouths to spit saltwater into tiered, demilune glass basins. Situated at the back is a statuesque diorite carving in the likeness of a young woman, several large floor cushions scattered at her feet.
Obvious exits: southwest
>look candelabra
- Suspended from a trio of imflass chains, the wrought iron candelabra hangs directly above the center of the niche. A large azurine ball of seaglass is the main focal point, several spindly wrought iron tendrils fanning out around it like a cage. Tall candles are set into the tapered, coiled grip of each tendril, illuminating the seaglass in a warm, flickering glow.
>look copper dolphin heads
- Crafted from oxidized copper, each dolphin head is mounted on a small plaque of the same material. Stylized to look more artistic than functional, curled waves frame each head, jutting out to the edges of the plaques. Saltwater spits from the elongated rostrums, giving the formal fountains the playfulness so intrinsic in actual dolphins.
>look basins
- Identical to its brethren, the demilune basin is comprised of darkly smoked glass and arranged in multiple tiers. Positioned beneath a nearby dolphin-headed fountain, the basin catches water at its center, causing the resulting ripples to bounce off its fluted edging like tiny waves. Nearby candlelight reflects within the glistening waters, illuminating algae that threaten at its edges, though the perpetual motion from the water collection keeps it at bay. A small aquamarine bowl balances on its rolled lip.
>look in bowl
- In the aquamarine bowl:
other (1): a pile of dehydrated brine.
>get brine in bowl
- Collecting some dehydrated brine from a nearby bowl, you toss it into the nearby .
The grains float every so briefly upon the water before several colorful fish appear from the depths of and begin feeding upon the brine. Their tiny heads briefly pop out of the waters to collect their treat before disappearing back to the depths in a flash of silvery scales and fluttering fins.
>look carving
- Rising statuesque above her surrounds, the curvaceous statue depicts the likeness of a beautiful young woman of seemingly human parentage. Her flowing locks trail the length of her body, covering all the delicate bits with a hint of modesty. Slender hands rest demurely at her sides, her expression carved with an inviting countenance. Playful and flirting, her eyes seem to follow the viewer at every move as if weighing their worth.
>look cushions
- Large, plush cushions in silks of varying ocean hues are placed on the cool, basalt floor. One cushion in particular is less plush than the others, the permanent indentation of knees showing a high level of dedication by at least one devotee.
Niima’s Niche Ambients
- A tiny winged insect can barely be seen flitting amid the hanging moss, though a tiny puff of smoke soon indicates its fiery demise by a candle flame.
- Sage and jasmine mingle together to concoct an earthy, floral scent pierced by the occasional waft of salty brine.
- Flickering candlelight reflects off the luminous moss, creating an otherworldly glowing effect above your head.
- Continuous jets of water splash into the basins below, the sound like playful, echoing ripples.
- In the lambent light, the flicker of candlelight creates shadows upon a statuesque diorite carving, causing it to briefly appear as if it is winking.
