The Elven Empire was the first empire to form after the Ur-Daemon War. It consisted of the seven elven houses and their cities: Ta'Illistim, Ta'Nalfein, Ta'Faendryl, Ta'Vaalor, Ta'Ashrim, Ta'Ardenai, and Ta'Loenthra.

History of the Elven Empire

The Elven Empire declared themselves the protectors of the known world after the fall of the Drakes.

Some elves remained in the forests and refused to join the Empire, and would become known as the Sylvankind. Others departed into the distant lands in the south, where they would become the Dhe'nar.

The Splitting of the Elven Empire

After the Undead War, the House of Faendryl was banished from the Elven Empire in -15,185 for their use of Demonic Summoning. The other Great Houses stopped cooperating as they were and withdrew into themselves. Ta'Faendryl was abandoned, and a New Ta'Faendryl was built near Rhoska-Tor, the area where Despana's capital, Maelshyve, had stood.

The Dark Elf - Sea Elf War

The Faendryl destroyed the city of Ta'Ashrim after the death of their princess, Chesylcha, in 157. The same magics used to defeat Despana in the Undead War were employed against the House of Ashrim's city, which strengthened the resentment of the Faendryl by the other elven houses. The Faendryl would never again be a part of the Elven Empire or the modern Elven Nations due to this event, and neither would the Ashrim due to their complete destruction.
