This faenor gouge is used to hollow out a crafted weapon with a hilt and inset it with a bug that has not been turned into a gem. In order to work, the gouger must be charged with resin. The translucent resin can be colored with alchemy dye.

The Forging Gouge was originally released at Ebon Gate festival Evermore Hollow 2022 in the shop The Gouged Heart.

Tier 1

Analyze

You take a closer look at an etched faenor gouge.
You analyze the faenor gouge and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

This faenor gouge is used to hollow out a crafted weapon with a hilt and inset it with a bug that has not been turned into a gem.  In order to work, the gouger must be charged with resin.  The translucent resin can be colored with alchemy dye.

LOAD: Add alchemy dye
PROD: Insert a bug
TURN: Change the imbed style

Usage

Verb First Third
RUB Running your fingers over the handle of your faenor gouge, you contemplate the next steps, envisioning the end product in your mind. <Character> rubs <his/her> thumb across the handle of <her/his> faenor gouge, momentarily lost in thought.
