Junk Bombs were introduced at Duskruin's August 2023 run by GM Quilic and were sold at Volatile Storage.

OVERIVEW

Hello there, intrepid adventurer! This iron gizmo is a Junk Bomb item. These items allow you to weightlessly store 5 kinds of treasure system junk and use it as ammunition/shrapnel via a giant, perfectly safe explosion! The item may hold up to 30 of each item and each shot consumes up to 30 charges to deal damage to a target. For each item consumed, 1 cycle of damage is inflicted.

VERBS

LIGHT - ignite the gizmo and set it to fire.
DISARM - disarms the gizmo and stops it from firing once it has been LIGHTed.
TINKER - repairs the gizmo after it has fired.
TURN - rotates to the next cylinder for firing.
PUT - drop a junk item into the device, storing it for future use.
RUB - Fluff.

MECHANICS

When the you LIGHT the gizmo, it will ignite for 5 seconds. After those 5 seconds, it will fire and shoot 5-30 pieces of shrapnel at your target (or a random creature if you're not targetting anything.) The damage severity is based on item type and moldy bones will leave behind a Death Cloud (1712) while tattered cloths will leave behind a room Web (118).

Currently, the gizmo contains:
 0 / 30 Chipped Bricks
 0 / 30 Table Legs
 0 / 30 Rusty Doorknobs
 0 / 30 Moldy Bones
 0 / 30 Tattered Cloths

The gizmo may currently fire 1 times per day. It is currently fixed.

ALTERING

This item may be freely altered but must remain consistent with the script: it should be an item that has multiple cylinders to load items into that spin around a central axis. It should be in good operating order but may show signs of wear-and-tear.

Usage

Verb First Third
Light You pull a small cord on the back of your iron gizmo. After a brief moment, it begins to sputter and hiss while a voluminous amount of smoke begins to pour out of it. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
Disarm Working quickly, you throw the iron gizmo's firing mechanism open and smother the smoldering powder contained within. With a final huff of smoke, the gizmo goes quiet and still once again. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
Tinker You carefully check your iron gizmo, realigning the firing mechanism and ensuring that all of the cylinders are in perfect operating condition. Once the gizmo is reset, you lift it to give its aim one final check. With a nod of satisfaction, you lower your gizmo once again. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
Turn You carefully turn a small knob on your iron gizmo, and with a small series of clicks, the body of the gizmo rotates as well, bringing the chamber for Chipped Bricks to the forefront, pressed against the detonator. You make a mental note that the current chamber has 5 pieces of potential ammunition available. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
Put You carefully load a chipped brick into your iron gizmo, watching with interest as the internal mechanism spins rapidly to the correct chamber, then spins back to its initial starting point. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
Rub Using the heel of your palm, you rub the surface of your iron gizmo in quick circles in a vain attempt at cleaning it. Despite your efforts, the gizmo remains surprisingly grimy. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!

Unlocking

There is only a single Tier for Junk Bombs, though unlocks are available to allow for more uses per day.
