A pin sash is a lightly-scripted pinworn sash that can be used to hold pins.

Analyze

You analyze your jewel-hued silk sash and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item has restrictions on changing the noun."

The creator has also provided the following information:
Any talented merchant can work on a jewel-hued silk sash, but the item must remain a "sash", and no "show" descriptions can be done.

If you have a small item -- such as a pin, medallion, ribbon, symbol, talisman, badge star, brooch, charm, stickpin, insignia, orb, emblem, or button -- that is normally worn like a pin, then when you are wearing the sash, you can try to POKE it while holding the pin-like item in your right hand. To remove an item from the sash, PULL the sash.

You get no sense of whether or not the sash may be further lightened.

Show

Pinned to your jewel-hued silk sash you see a tiny silver handaxe, and a black griffin.

Usage

Verb First Third
POKE (when worn) You pin a black griffin to your jewel-hued silk sash, choosing the perfect spot for it. XXX pins a black griffin to her jewel-hued silk sash.
PULL You carefully unpin a black griffin from your jewel-hued silk sash. XXX carefully unpins a black griffin from her jewel-hued silk sash.
REMOVE You take off a jewel-hued silk sash, rolling it up carefully so that anything pinned to it is protected inside it. XXX takes off her jewel-hued silk sash and rolls it up carefully.
WEAR You unroll a jewel-hued silk sash, making sure you do not disturb anything pinned to it. Then, when it's all smoothed out, you put it on. XXX slips her head and one arm through a jewel-hued silk sash, patting and smoothing it until it lies smoothly across her body.
