The Royal Magister was a hereditary position in the Turamzzyrian Empire which controls the study of arcane arts in the empire and serves as advisor to the emperor.
The position was created in 4922 by Emperor Trydall Anodheles when he bestowed the position on Ander Kestrel, the patriarch of the House of Kestrel. The Kestrels have retained the position ever since and have controlled the Hall of Mages and the Imperial Drakes as a result.
