Domed Atrium

  • [Domed Atrium, Egress]

Picturesque floral hangings drape the marble walls in this hall, but the room lacks the extensive flower arrangements found elsewhere in the atrium. Instead, an ivory runner leads to a brightly illuminated portico, its length bordered on both sides by aged silver candelabras. Adding a dim glow to the room, each candelabrum holds a single white wax taper.

  • [Domed Atrium, Reception]

Matching the entry in decoration, this portion of the atrium sports identical ivory silk wall hangings and an abundance of floral planters. Breaking up the design are long marble blocks laden with food, beverages, and a silver cake stand. Tucked in a corner near a brightly lit portico, a broad stage has been reserved for local musicians. Strung high above, small frosted globes give off an attractive glow.

  • [Domed Atrium, Lounge]

Encircling the area, a tangle of woody grape vines with an abundance of large leaves create the illusion of privacy in this small nook. Flanked by two sculpted rosebushes, a cherry-hued wicker divan offers a place for quiet relaxation. Tucked in a corner, water pours from an alabaster fountain, the gentle burble muting the sounds echoing from the room beyond.

  • [Domed Atrium, Altar]

Four soaring marble columns extend upward toward the domed ceiling, each column flanking a corner of the raised marble dais in the middle of the room. Rows of silk-draped chairs encircle the dais, and sunrays stream from the dome's frosted skylight, bathing the alabaster altar centered on the dais in diffused light. Softening the surrounding marbled walls, thin swathes of hanging silk are a decadent background for the numerous planters of lilies, roses and orchids.

Galleon

  • [Galleon, Dock]

Clear, blue-green water gently laps at the thick pilings supporting the dock, stirred by a warm, salt-tinged breeze and gleams in the bright sunlight. Evenly spaced timbers span the pilings, only slightly faded from their exposure to the elements. Large coils of rope lay on either side of a wide gangplank, which leads onto the deck of a triple-masted galleon.

  • [Galleon, Captain's Dining Hall]

Ivory tapers fill silver sconces mounted onto honey oak paneled walls, and several windows along the back wall provide a breathtaking view of sunlit, white-capped blue-green water. A trio of rosewood tables sit next to a polished oak cake stand near a stout multi-paneled door, and a row of linen-topped tables with chairs line one wall. Along the opposite wall, a small group of musicians sit on barrels, while the center of the room has been left open, creating a dance floor.

  • [Galleon, Main Deck]

A slender wooden bench sits against the starboard railing, several coils of rope neatly stowed beneath it. The deck is slightly faded and salt-stained, yet well maintained, and massive sails snap crisply overhead in the salty breeze as the galleon rocks gently on the ocean waves. A stout multi-paneled door leads below the quarterdeck, and a short flight of stairs leads up onto the forecastle deck. Carefully secured to the port railing is a wide gangplank leading back to the dock.

  • [Galleon, Forecastle Deck]

Whitecaps crest the blue-green water beyond the bowsprit, and a brisk salt-tinged breeze blows over the deck. A row of low-backed wooden chairs forms a semicircle facing an archway of flowers near the bowsprit, and high overhead, crisp canvas sails snap in the wind. A short flight of stairs leads back to the main deck.

Winter Glade

  • [Winter Glade, Snowy Path]

Thick drifts of fresh snow line a small path that meanders through ice-covered trees and nearly hidden boulders, ending at a large white tent. Small curls of smoke drift from the top of the tent, and bright sunlight glistens from every surface. The tracks of a small animal disappear into the distance to the west, and to the east, over a small cliff, can be seen a snow-laden valley.

  • [Winter Glade, White Tent]

Layers of bear skins line the ground around the pit, and a pair of ice sculptures flank a birchwood serving table and a round cake stand. An ice-beaded curtain in the northern wall leads toward a frozen waterfall, while a gently billowing flap in the eastern wall leads toward a secluded clearing.

  • [Winter Glade, Tranquil Clearing]

Tall trees ring this tranquil area, their branches laden with fresh snow and ropes of beaded ice hanging nearly to the ground. Rays of sunlight slant through the branches, striking the beads of ice and reflecting in a multitude of colors. A ring of river stones sits in the center of the clearing, a warm fire burning brightly and warming the air. Several wide benches, covered with thick bear skins, are arranged around the fire. At the end of a small trail to the west, a gently billowing flap leads into a white tent.

  • [Winter Glade, Frozen Waterfall]

Along the back of the clearing, a curtain of frozen water hangs from a tall cliff, cascading over two smaller outcroppings before joining a smooth, circular frozen pond. Drifts of powdery snow partially cover small bushes and seedlings, and thin layers of ice glisten from every surface, while sunlight reflects from ropes of beaded ice hanging from the branches of trees encompassing the area. A small, ice-carved altar sits where the waterfall and the pond merge, and ice-carved benches ring the pond.
