Achilia is a Wedding Officiant that performs wedding ceremonies for those that purchase a wedding package from the Simucoin Store during Rings of Lumnis, Duskruin, Rumor Woods, or Ebon Gate.

Description

You see Achilia the Indifferent.
She appears to be Aelotoi.
She is tall and ageless.  Slender and graceful, her delicate lavender wings sparkle in the ambient light.  Long flowing silver hair falls down her back, laying perfectly against a stormcloud colored alb.  Cool jade green eyes stare impassively from a slender face with refined features.
She is in good shape.
Light silver thread graces the cuffs and hem of a stormcloud colored alb that seems to float indifferently above her pale skin, stopping just above a pair of dainty silver slippers.  A brilliant sunstone ring graces her right hand while a heavy onyx ring graces her left.

Ceremony

Achilia strides forward, flanked by two attendants in light grey robes.  One attendant places a simple wooden dais before those gathered, while the other drapes it in a silver-traced grey-colored cloth.  Achilia steps toward the dais and raises her hands, waiting for silence.

In a lilting, melodic voice that floats in the silence, Achilia says, "We are all here today to rejoice and bear witness to the union of GROOM and BRIDE in holy matrimony.  Marriage is a covenant, ratified by mortals and glorified by the gods.  Present your offerings to whichever Arkati you deem worthy, and ask for the blessings upon the couple."

Turning to face you, Achilia asks, "Do you, GROOM, take BRIDE to be your wedded companion under the law of the land and in the eyes of whichever Arkati you may follow?"

Turning to face BRIDE, Achilia asks, "Do you, BRIDE, take GROOM to be your wedded companion under the law of the land and in the eyes of whichever Arkati you may follow?"

Success

"Wonderful!  A joyous day indeed," Achilia says warmly.  "Two souls, joined as one.  That is how some describe marriage, while to others it is a legal and binding contract.  As I have no intricate knowledge of a soul or its ability to be joined, I can only provide the latter," she continues.  "Therefore, by the powers vested in me by the law of the lands, I pronounce you married under the law," she says with an emotionless face.  With a soft smile, she exclaims, "You may now kiss each other!"  Achilia nods to the attendants, signaling the removal of the dais, as she says, "Congratulations.  Please enjoy the refreshments prepared for you."  Achilia smiles and strides out.

Rejection

"It seems we are at an impasse," states Achilia emotionlessly.  "I am afraid we will not be having a wedding today after all.  Please feel free to remain and enjoy the refreshments," she says.  Achilia nods to the attendants, signaling the removal of the dais as she strides out.
