Shadowed Light

[Shadowed Light - 8212733]
The subtle smell of old blood lingers in the air as dried pools of the sanguineous substance, along with various drips, mar the already damaged wood floors. A series of hangers hang from rusted hooks protruding from soiled walls, with small oil lanterns between them. Resting against a far wall is a pine table, its surface bare save for a few scraps of paper. You also see a splintered ebonwood door with black-painted glass panes and a battered sign.

Shadowed Light

Sheer, black gossamer painted with small, silver moons and stars hang across loosely planked walls in a poor attempt to dress up the room. Soft light from several mostly melted candles reflects upon the moons and stars on the fabric, creating the illusion of dancing fireflies in the dim room. A leather-bound chest, its lid propped open by a pronged pole, sits off to one side of the area across from a pine closet with its door broken off the hinges.
