Gathering With Cryheart

Flakes of ashen snow descend quietly from the night sky, fluttering down like ivory scrappings.

[Town Square Central]

This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing. The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith. At the north end, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded from the moonlight by a strong, robust tree. The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. You also see a black-billed bluff vulture that is flying around, the Bellaja disk, the Pookia disk, the crab-shaped Rasson disk, a silver-tipped smoke grey wolf, the Bruster disk, a frost-covered yellow-eyed silvery lor mandrake, an inlaid leather grimoire soaring around with its gilt-swept ethereal violet pinions, a seed-eyed dusky-grained zebrawood mandrake wearing some reddish bark armor, the web-draped Missoni disk, the repousse copper Perigourd disk raised in leafy designs, a lazy wild silver-grey dog, the Setharys disk, a sharp-nosed grey puppy with long corded fur, a calico-dotted white magnum opus flying around with its feathery wings, the Selucia disk, the Paarfi disk, a wide-scaled deep green abyran'sa, a floppy-eared white puppy masked with a patch of void black fur, a five-taloned dark green grik'tval, an animated flayed gigas disciple, a ruby-inlaid eelskin grimoire flying around with its feathery wings, a dreary desert spirit that is flying around, a pale-faced coppery barn owl, an ivy-covered white monir tower, some woth flower, a red cedar sign that reads, "Kiyna. A better Landing, one small step at a time!", some wide stone benches with some stuff on it, an herbal remedy donation bin and a round silver-banded barrel.

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk exclaims, "Join Cryheart!"

(OOC) Bernadette's player whispers to the group, "Sorry was distracted a sec."

Leafiara wryly says, "Ah, yes, it's that time again. I see."

Pookia exclaims, "Time to get lost!"

Cryheart says, "Sure."

Speaking to Leafiara, Chandrellia says, "Yeah, its winter time."

Chandrellia says, "I hate the snow."

A curtain of soft white flakes continue to drift down from the sky, dusting the rooftops of Wehnimer's Landing in the first snow of the winter.

Pookia exclaims, "The worst part about the snow is how it muffles yer voice!"

Pookia screams!

Pookia screams!

Pookia screams!

Pookia exclaims, "Ya can barely hear me!"

The coppery barn owl hoots at Leafiara.

Speaking to Pookia, Bellaja says, "I assure you that's not so."

Speaking curiously to a pale-faced coppery barn owl, Leafiara asks, "How are you tonight, Owly? Amazing, extra amazing, or ultra amazing?"

Bernadette softly says, "Me kin hears ye fine."

The coppery barn owl hoots at Leafiara.

The coppery barn owl hoots at Leafiara.

Speaking to Pookia, Vaemyr says, "I umm... don't think you will ever have that problem."

Speaking to Pookia, Chandrellia says, "Craaeful, some folks here have sensitive ears."

Pookia says, "Relative."

Speaking amusedly to a pale-faced coppery barn owl, Leafiara agrees, "Naturally."

Pukk says, "All that snow will make running on the roofs pretty tricky."

Speaking quietly to Pookia, Hadya says, "Your screams are...shrill."

Guarrin notes, "A bit early in the season for it."

Speaking to Missoni, Perigourd says, "I expect it might be time to break out the kindling."

Speaking to Guarrin, Chandrellia says, "Thats what I was saying."

Geijon says, "I was ready for ya."

Speaking to Perigourd, Missoni agrees, "A nice fire would be cozy."

Vaemyr says, "Maybe some cold winds comin in from the North or northwest."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Kiyna says, "Could be a lot worse, to be sure. Good to see you as well."

Evia says, "Hm was that Stormyrain smooching me from the shadows..."

[General] Pukk thinks, "Now we just need to say Xorus' name 3 times and he will appear too."

Cryheart says, "Come on Pukk, you may join me."

[General] Lylia thinks, "You sometimes need to provide a sacrifice too."

Speaking to Cryheart, Pukk exclaims, "I can't join you any more than I am!"

Pukk says, "Wait..."

Pukk says, "I can do this."

Pukk snuggles up to Cryheart.

Pookia announces, "Everyone single file!"

Pukk says, "Now I'm really joined."

Speaking to Cryheart, Mauss exclaims, "Request permission ta Cryblob!"

Cryheart says, "Ye can join the group, but no snuggles."

Awaiting Cordarius

A young uniformed town clerk walks by, a fresh layer of snow having dusted his curly hair. He nods and smiles and announces, "Lord Cordarius Hodges will be gathering the townspeople outside of Moot Hall to make an important announcement in the next few moments. All are welcome!" The clerk heads off down the street, occassionally eyes turning to the sky to watch the flurry above.

Leafiara muses, "Oh, Cordarius. Thankfully I've brought popcorn."

Guarrin notes, "Surprising. We have not seen him in some time."

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk asks, "Can I have some too?"

Chandrellia says, "Damn I forgot my apple."

Speaking amusedly to Pukk, Leafiara says, "Sure."

Leafiara offers Pukk some salty popcorn.

Vaemyr says, "Didn't expect Cordarius tonight, kinda expected Thadston to be back."

Speaking quietly to Sevanya, Pookia says, "I think this is apple guy i still have that horrible apple."

Pukk accepts Leafiara's salty popcorn.

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk says, "You are the bestest."

Speaking in Guildspeak, Davenshire exclaims something you don't understand.

Monolis asks, "What ya done now ?"

Speaking dubiously to Vaemyr, Leafiara asks, "Isn't it a little early in your term to be getting thrown off by the mayor already?"

Davenshire exclaims, "Get out the scarfs and mittens!"

Speaking to Monolis, Pookia exclaims, "Nothin if i can help it!"

Tikba says, "The Mayor did say he would be returning around now."

Tikba says, "Perhaps he is delayed."

Leafiara mildly says, "I jest anyway."

Leafiara idly adds, "Probably."

Cryheart says, "Long trip to Hendor."

Cryheart says, "Or from."

Speaking to Leafiara, Vaemyr says, "You know all too well about how much our Mayor likes to communicate with anyone else."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Leafiara reiterates, "Probably."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Chandrellia says, "Now hold up, he communicated quite well with us Councilors when he was yelling at us."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Vaemyr asks, "Oh... is that the trick you gotta make him mad enough first?"

Chandrellia says, "I'm still upset my windows didnt get tested."

Geijon says, "I am surprised he even went to Hendor."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Chandrellia asks, "Isnt that how it always works with men?"

Speaking to Geijon, Perigourd says, "I expect it's hard to ignore a request from the Earl."

Speaking to Perigourd, Tikba says, "He did try quite hard."

Speaking to Perigourd, Ulfwine says, ""As I heard it as well."

Chandrellia removes a hemp-strung holly whistle decorated in bright white whorls from in her dark leather longcoat.

Chandrellia says, "I am so mad at this whistle."

Kiyna muses, "An announcement... curious."

Speaking softly to Ulfwine, Asthenea says, "Dont mind him."

Speaking to Kiyna, Vaemyr says, "I'm sure it's to tell us the Town Council is disolved, we are now an official imperial territory, and we're under someone's new juristiction."

Speaking to Asthenea, Ulfwine says, ""looks like the one that tried to take my head off earlier this evening."

Guarrin says, "Given his former rank, I am not that surprised he visited when requested."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Leafiara remarks, "Cordarius never gets even close to that much done."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Perigourd says, "There are worse outcomes."

Cordarius' Arrival

Turning the corner around a building, a lone figure strides into view, moving down the street and heading towards Moot Hall. An ashen-hued robe hugs his body, the deep hood shadowing his face and keeping the snow away. A small white falcon amulet dangles from his neck, the birds metallic talons clutching a polished black coral. As he comes closer into view, you can see him polishing a green apple on the sleeve of his robe before taking a few generous bites and then tossing the fruit in a nearby barrel.

Speaking softly to Ulfwine, Asthenea says, "Oh no, this one was very friendly. think he was a baker."

Cordarius bows.

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia says, "My apple is better."

>l cord

You see Lord Cordarius Hodges the Regional Envoy of Wehnimer's Landing.

He appears to be a Human.

It is difficult to properly see his features as the hood of his robe is pulled down over his face.

He is in good shape.

He is wearing a bright yellow sign reading "KICK ME!", a small pendant in the shape of a sleek white falcon set with a black coral in its talons, a deeply hooded ashen-hued robe, a slim black cloth pack, a thin reddish-black ring, an onyx-clasped grey pouch, some polished field plate, a black leather cloak some slouched black leather boots.

Speaking to Cordarius, Vaemyr says, "Good evening."

Chandrellia offers Cordarius a juicy golden apple.

Speaking to Cordarius, Tayler says, "You appear to have acquired a sign."

Cordarius accepts Chandrellia's golden apple.

Cordarius grins.

Cryheart says, "Good evening."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Lylia says, "Well, I did pick that one myself."

Cordarius frowns.

Speaking to Lylia, Chandrellia says, "As always you have good taste."

Cordarius angrily grabs a bright yellow sign reading "KICK ME!" from his back, crumples it up into a ball, and flings it over his shoulder, muttering something about blood, pain, and torture.

Cordarius squints.

Speaking to Cordarius, Pukk says, "Lean over here with me and watch the fun."

Pukk leans against the Moot Hall.

Leafiara leans against the Moot Hall.

Cordarius put a juicy golden apple in his ashen-hued robe.

Speaking to Cordarius, Lylia says, "Those have been popular of late. My sympathies."

Tayler says, "I put two hundred in my shop, they're all gone."

Cordarius marches back off down the street, then pauses, turning dramatically, and returns.

Cordarius says, "Let's try that again..."

Cordarius smirks.

Speaking to Cordarius, Pukk exclaims, "Welcome back!"

Speaking disappointedly to Tayler, Leafiara says, "Shoot, can't believe I didn't think of that opportunity myself."

Cordarius says, "Good evening everyone."

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia says, "We cant I only had one apple."

Speaking to Cordarius, Kiyna asks, "Jesting aside, you have an announcement for us?"

Lylia says, "Good evening to you."

Cryheart says, "Good evening."

Bernadette softly says, "Good eve."

Speaking cheerfully to Cordarius, Missoni greets, "Fair eve."

Cordarius asks, "It has been sometime since we gathered outside in a storm no?"

Cordarius chuckles.

Hadya quietly greets, "Good evening."

Cordarius says, "Life has been so peaceful."

Mourdeyan says, "Indeed."

Goldstr says, "Evenin sir."

Cordarius clears his throat.

Sevanya offers Cordarius a crisp green apple.

Tayler says, "At least the snow doesn't get much past a cloak."

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk whispers aloud, "I bet you Owlie can take Cordarius in a fight."

Cordarius says, "The first winter's snow. How, fitting."

Cordarius accepts Sevanya's green apple.

Cordarius grins at Sevanya.

Speaking amusedly to Pukk, Leafiara asks, "Is that even close?"

Pookia says, "Its a little rotten, its still good though."

Missoni observes, "Snow always looks rather nice when it is fresh."

Tayler says, "Until the puppies and urchins have at it."

Perigourd whispers something to Missoni.

Speaking to Missoni, Chandrellia says, "Its after all the dirty have trampled in it does it look bad."

Missoni says, "A nice five minutes."

Irval asks, "Fitting for what? Winter has come. What are you referencing it to?"

Pookia whispers something to Sevanya.

Cordarius says, "We also have some new town councilors."

Kiyna says, "I'm going to enjoy appreciating the beauty of winter. For the first few days, anyway, after which I'll be wholly sick of it."

Cordarius says, "Aren't you all lucky."

Cordarius chuckles.

Kayse inclines her head.

Pookia exclaims, "Lucky to have me! yes! agree!"

Pookia lets out a cheer!

Bellaja says, "As a rule."

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia exclaims, "Yes, lucky to get out of that office!"

Kiyna smiles at Cordarius.

Speaking simply to Cordarius, Kayse says, "Change is a good thing sometimes."

Speaking to Kayse, Perigourd says, "An inevitable thing."

Speaking to Kiyna, Vaemyr says, "We'll make sure if we have time, to go on a trip to warmer weather at some point this winter."

Cordarius grins.

Kayse indifferently says, "Just like the seasons."

Kayse sticks her tongue out and manages to catch a snowflake on its tip!

Kiyna nods at Vaemyr.

Cordarius asks, "Well, let's get to it, shall we?"

Cordarius asks, "Has anyone seen the Mayor?"

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia says, "Not as of late."

Bernadette softly says, "Snow nice doh."

Tikba says, "Not for a month or so."

Cordarius nods.

Speaking to Cordarius, Lylia says, "Not in some time."

Rasson says, "At least once."

Cordarius says, "He'll be back soon enough then."

Hadya quietly says, "I don't even know who the Mayor is these days... so, no."

Cryheart says, "Most likely."

Speaking to Cordarius, Kiyna says, "He left to speak with the Earl. The... Northern Sentinel, if I have that right."

Cordarius says, "I can't delay it any longer."

Cryheart says, "Earl Jovery."

Speaking to Hadya, Stormyrain whispers aloud, "Thadston."

Thrassus asks, "Delay what?"

[General] Awsibey asks, "If i go to bed will the worker in the tower still return my boxes in the morning?"

Cordarius pulls out a crisp scroll from the folds of his robe.

Speaking to Cordarius, Vaemyr says, "He had told us that he planned to return about this time from his visit with the Earl."

Cordarius says, "The announcement."

Cordarius nods at Thrassus.

Evia says, "Oh aha."

The voice of Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Me bet dat da proof dat Amos kilt Renpaw."

Cordarius says, "Hold your questions please, until I finish it."

Cordarius glances at a crisp scroll in his hand.

Cordarius slowly empties his lungs.

[General] Chandrellia thinks, "Yes."

Cordarius scans the crowd with his eyes, then noticebly the rooftops.

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia says, "Yes Cordarius, there is snow on the rooftops as well."

Thrassus says, "Oh, now I am interested."

Speaking to Cordarius, Pukk says, "I'm sure there isn't an arrow with your name on it tonight."

Speaking quietly to Pukk, Ferghal asks, "Sure of that?"

Speaking to Ferghal, Pukk says, "No."

Pukk quickly ducks behind Leafiara.

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk says, "Just to be safe."

Cordarius' Announcement from Earl Jovery

Cordarius says, "It is a letter from Earl Jovery, the Northern Sentinel of the Turamzzyrian Empire."

Cordarius says, "So please, a moment, as I read it."

Cordarius clears his throat.

Cordarius asks, "Maybe you read it?"

Cordarius peers quizzically at Cryheart.

Cordarius smirks.

Cordarius says, "No no, I will."

Cryheart says, "Hmm.."

Speaking to Cryheart, Pukk asks, "You can read too?"

The voice of Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Let Pukk read it."

Cryheart grins at Cordarius.

Missoni eagerly says, "Someone read it."

Cryheart asks, "Want me to read it?"

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia says, "Maybe let one of teh new coucilors read it."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Gimme, me read."

Bellaja says, "Yes, the humans among us are aging rapidly."

Pukk exclaims, "Ooh maybe I can read it!"

Speaking to Gutstorm, Pookia exclaims, "You read it!"

Ferghal quietly asks, "Someone read it before the assassinations begin?"

Vaemyr says, "Their arrows only hurt a little going in, it's the blood filling up the throat as you choke to death that's the more unpleasant part."

Cordarius recites:

"To the free people of Wehnimer's Landing...."

Xorus says, "Ominous."

Pukk says, "That's a good start."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Free....hehe."

Pukk says, "Sounds promising."

Cordarius recites:

"There is no better ally to you than your brothers and sisters who call the Turamzzyrian Empire their home. As Sir Thadston Andrews once so famously declared, the Empire has come not as occupiers, but as liberators and protectors. He went on to say that for too long Wehnimer's Landing and its environs have been crushed under the heavy boot of darkness and chaos, and that our combined efforts helped raise the town out of depravity and disaster. Our years of cooperation and steadfast alliance were but only steps forward, but the journey was not yet over."

Pukk asks, "What can go wrong?"

Cordarius recites:

"We have faced countless enemies together. From the shadows of Grishom Stone and Elithain Cross, to the wild machinations of Drangell and the bloody crusade of Chaston. We have equally shared in our triumphs, and our losses. But never should the accord between Wehnimer's Landing and the Turamzzyrian Empire ever have been doubted, nor should it ever be still. As a protectorate of the Empire, our people are forever entwined both in prosperity and in promise."

Kelfyr says, "I'm sensing a 'however' building."

Pookia says, "Free definitely had some kind of inflection there didnt it."

Cordarius recites:

"Danger still permeates in the far north. Age old sites such as Melgorehn's Reach and Darkstone Castle provide both chaos, temptation, and threats from our enemies. We have seen what devastation such evil or power can bring forth. There have been heavy casualties in the last few years. The entire region of Talador was reduced to a barren wasteland, with hundreds of imperial citizens still displaced, many still longing for a new land to call their home. In our combined efforts for good fortune and lasting unity, we must ensure that we all rise as one, standing as both a stalwart defense against our enemies and as a haven for our citizens."

Cordarius gazes in wonder at his surroundings.

Cordarius recites:

"It is time for the Empire to grow."

Kelfyr says, "And there it is."

Irval says, "Here it comes."

Davenshire glances at Cordarius and mumbles something about imperial lackeys.

Cordarius recites:

"It is time to stretch our borders to allow progress for our people and strength for our collaboration. But it is equally important to value relationships and freedom. With the explicit blessing of the Sun Throne, and by my own decree, the borders of the Turamzyrrian Empire will expand to the north and northwest."

Vaemyr says, "Called it..."

Ferghal quietly says, "Here it comes."

Speaking in Faendryl, Lylia says something you don't understand.

Thrassus says, "About time, to be honest."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "We takin over Icemool finally?"

Mauss quietly groans, "Hoo boy."

Evia says, "Perhaps read larger sections, less time for not-so-witty repartee."

Cordarius recites:

"The new lands will reach to many edges of the Locksmehr River, and far west to Darkstone Bay. Such landmarks included within the new region will be the Graendlor Pasture, the mountainous ranges of Wehntoph, Sentoph, Zelatoph, and Thanatoph along with Melgorehn's Reach and Darkstone Castle. In the coming days, an imperial caravan will be arriving to Wehnimer's Landing on a diplomatic mission to announce the new ruler of the declared Barony of Darkstone and begin the anticipated cooperation and transition as our people go forward not only as allies, but as neighbors."

Tayler asks, "Barony of Darkstone?"

Speaking in Faendryl, Ferghal quietly says something you don't understand.

Cordarius recites:

"By my Hand, Earl Eddric Jovery, The Northern Sentinel of the Turamzzyrian Empire."

Cordarius put a crisp scroll in his ashen-hued robe.

Followup or Lack Thereof

Leafiara affably says, "Welp, sounds good."

Kelfyr asks, "A new resident of the castle?"

Bellaja interrupts, "Dimplomatic occupation more like."

Speaking flatly to Kiyna, Kayse teases, "Time to resign."

Tikba mildly says, "What a thoughtful letter."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Who OUR Baron?"

Kelfyr says, "I wish them luck in evicting the current residents."

Perigourd says, "This will come with several issues.."

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk asks, "So, the imps are going to take over Icemule now?"

Speaking to Kayse, Kiyna asks, "You think we have veto power here?"

Speaking to Pukk, Leafiara says, "No, Darkstone."

Cryheart says, "But with peace, hopefully."

Tayler says, "I wish them luck with the troll kings and harbingers, should they wish to inhabit Darkstone."

Speaking to Kiyna, Vaemyr says, "We do... but that comes with significant risks."

Cordarius gazes in wonder at his surroundings.

Pukk says, "Troll kings...halflings...I always get them confused."

Monolis says, "This will end in tears and more blood on mah shoes."

Leafiara amusedly says, "I mean, I'm sure they can handle the troll kings. Whether they can handle the Reach is another story."

Cryheart says, "One is taller than the other."

Speaking to Cordarius, Vaemyr asks, "Surprised you haven't been shot yet?"

Thrassus says, "I doubt they will be inhabiting the castle, at least not at first."

Speaking to Kiyna, Kayse says, "Doesn't mean it's a negative thing necessarily. Since you asked me."

Speaking drunkenly to Pukk, Gutstorm slurs, "Troll kingsh are da not noying onesh."

Speaking to Leafiara, Chandrellia says, "Yup looks like we got out just in time."

Speaking to Tayler, Rasson says, "Like the abandon inn what happens in the basement stays in the basement."

A piece of half-eaten fruit flies from the crowd, almost striking Cordarius in the face but he steps aside last minute.

Cordarius exclaims, "I am but the messenger!"

Thrassus exclaims, "Oh, come now!"

Tayler says, "Good reflexes for a messenger."

Kelfyr asks, "Then no worry about being shot, eh?"

Speaking pleasedly to Chandrellia, Leafiara says, "Ah, so this is what Pup meant when he constantly said it was so much better to be on the other side."

Tikba pleasantly says, "And you must take back our reply."

Speaking to Kelfyr, Bellaja says, "Of course there is."

Kayse observes, "He still checked the rooftops for Rooks before he read it."

Xorus says, "Well, I, for one, welcome our previously existing imperial overlords."

Quickly flicking a piece of popcorn at Cordarius, Gutstorm hits him square in the chest!

Speaking to Cordarius, Kiyna asks, "That is the end of your announcement, yes?"

Guarrin says, "I did not realize so many were passionate defenders of the Reach and Darkstone castle."

Geijon says, "Highly dangerous areas, all."

Cordarius nods at Kiyna.

Cordarius says, "I had hoped the Mayor had been here to read the letter..."

Thrassus says, "It's not like they need permission, with the Landing being a protectorate and all."

Irval whispers to the group, "So the free landing is getting absorbed into the empire?"

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia says, "Ok odd question."

Pukk yells, "Rooks prepare the rotten fruit and throw!"

Cryheart whispers something to Raelee.

Cordarius says, "But I suppose he'll address it on his own time, like he always does."

Irval says, "He'd of probably thrown it out the window."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Da Mayor not read, he trow chairsh."

Guarrin whispers to the group, "It does not mention the Landing."

Pukk seems to be waiting for something.

Pukk taps his foot impatiently.

Speaking to Cordarius, Bellaja asks, "What wealth lies in those areas?"

Guarrin whispers to the group, "And the landing is already a protectorate."

Geijon says, "Seen him break more necks than chairs."

Xorus whispers to the group, "It was already deemed a protectorate. They are making a barony."

Cordarius shrugs at Bellaja.

Leafiara admits, "I actually thought those areas were already in Imperial jurisdiction, to be honest."

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia says, "If this letter came from teh Sentinal of the North that Thadston was gonna go see, why didnt Thadston bring this letter back with him."

Hadya whispers to the group, "It merely means the Empire is on your doorstep."

Lylia notes, "Chaston Griffin was responsible for the destruction of Talador, and he was not a native of the Landing or its environs. Bit of specious reasoning there if we are to be blamed for all ills north of the Demonwall."

Mourdeyan whispers to the group, "We sit in the middle of that area."

Speaking in Faendryl, Ferghal quietly says something you don't understand.

Ferghal quietly says, "Leaping points to take over more areas."

Cordarius shrugs at Chandrellia.

Guarrin whispers to the group, "North of it, yes."

Speaking to Guarrin, Tayler says, "Yet those are not all they now claim."

Vaemyr says, "So... a new Barony."

Ulfwine whispers to the group, "'it has been on the doorstep for a long while now."

Speaking drunkenly to Cordarius, Gutstorm slurs, "Corderoyus, dat mean we gonna git bitter moniesh from pawnshop?"

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia says, "And yet noone has heard from Thadston."

Tayler asks, "What of existing structures that reside upon once free lands?"

Speaking to Lylia, Perigourd says, "I don't think it has to do with blame, as it were."

Vaemyr says, "Which basically will include the landing in all but name."

Cordarius shrugs at Tayler.

Guarrin says, "A difficult area...now as to the new baron or baroness.."

Cordarius says, "There's a lot of questions, I am afraid I have no answers currently."

Hadya whispers to the group, "I think it is very official now."

Speaking to Cordarius, Bellaja says, "It really seems more of a land seizure to get what's in the land, more than a place to relocate refugees."

Kelfyr says, "The wealth of empires is measured in reach and strength, and the belief that both are theirs by right."

Guarrin says, "Oh."

Cordarius says, "I suspect our Mayor might, if he went to meet with the Earl."

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia asks, "So how long are we to wait to find out where Thadston is?"

Cordarius asks, "Or whomever is coming to be the announced ruler? A Baron?"

Cordarius says, "I cannot say I am surprised, but, I am still very much surprised."

[General] Zeverius exclaims, "Thanks! I was going to the wrong park!"

Lylia says, "No, but it does strike me as a piece of sophistry. Not that I would know anything of political speech and sophistry. Of course."

Speaking to Cordarius, Ulfwine asks, ""The Mayor is the new Baron, yes?"

Hadya quietly asks, "How do you intend to purge Darkstone of its....current inhabitants?"

Cordarius asks, "I suspect Thadston will return soon I hope?"

Cordarius peers quizzically at Chandrellia.

Speaking to Cordarius, Vaemyr says, "Given the contents of the letter I suspect the Earl might be trying to convince Thadston to become the Baron, one of the only ways I see that ending without conflict."

Bellaja whispers to the group, "This is an attempt at a land takeover."

Tikba says, "We all must hope."

Cordarius shrugs at Ulfwine.

Leafiara amusedly says, "He just said he doesn't have answers."

Stormyrain abruptly states, "Oh."

Stormyrain says, "Oh."

Ferghal quietly asks, "SO, how much longer before we all become citizens of the empire?"

Thrassus says, "Why? It's probably the wisest thing the Northern Sentinel has done in quite some time."

Speaking to Stormyrain, Guarrin says, "Yes. Oh."

Cordarius says, "Thadston as a Baron would be horrible."

Cordarius says, "No offense."

Cordarius chuckles.

Bellaja whispers to the group, "Not borrowing or using or working together. A proclamation of intent to hae it."

Irval whispers to the group, "We are getting annexed offically now. And as for being a protectorate...I do not see the empire's soldiers defending our walls..."

Speaking to Cordarius, Guarrin says, "On the other hand, there have been worse."

Raelee quietly says, "... it would be."

Leafiara says, "He's been a commander, marshal, and mayor."

Evia says, "Baron Thaxin then."

Xorus says, "Thadston is welcome to abdicate to myself."

Speaking to Cordarius, Vaemyr asks, "Earl Thadston then?"

Cordarius says, "True, he is no Hochstib."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Me could be Baron."

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia asks, "So if I am understanding the letter correctly we have no choice in this matter?"

Cordarius begins chuckling at Vaemyr!

Speaking to Cordarius, Perigourd says, "Very few are as to he."

Speaking to Evia, Geijon asks, "Why?"

Missoni remarks, "It would make more sense perhaps to draw a lesser heir from one of the noble families."

Pukk exclaims, "Gutstorm for baron!"

Speaking to Cordarius, Lylia says, "Indeed, it would be far more sensible to choose someone who is local, or at least who has lived here for some time longer than Thadston, who tends to be...less of a peacemaker than some."

Cordarius says, "The letter speaks of freedom, and of new neighbors."

Cordarius says, "There isn't a voting process for this, no."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Kiyna says, "We always have a choice."

Cordarius begins chuckling at Chandrellia!

Speaking to Chandrellia, Thrassus says, "This is a protectorate, it is already Imperial land."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Rasson says, "Bet you are glad your town council stint is over now."

Ferghal quietly says, "The empire ever promotes its own."

Irval says, "So they just want more taxes , after allowing non-humans to occupy. It will fill the empires coffers."

Pookia says, """freedom"" ""neighbors""."

Lylia says, "Though of course, it is not up to us who is chosen; nobility is not an elected office."

Speaking amusedly to Rasson, Leafiara says, "It's good to be free."

Kelfyr says, "The freedom to serve a foreign will."

Evia says, "Hmm new neighbors."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Why not makin it a drinkin contesht, who ever drink most, be Baron."

Paarfi says, "Whadda mess."

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia says, "Yeah we hear about freedom and friendship every time someone tries to take over."

Pukk says, "That is what all the conquerors say right."

Geijon says, "None of that is considered land of Wehnimer's. We've got several past Mayors here that should be able to verify."

Evia says, "Who would want to live in any of those places."

Khiya adds, "Sounds like stealing with a polite preface."

Nairena says, "Oh the job the new ones have to contend with."

Cryheart says, "Before we jump to conclusions, we should wait for details then react."

Cordarius nods at Cryheart.

Speaking to Khiya, Tayler says, "They're going to take the boulder. The boulder."

Mauss muses, "Was any timeframe given or implied?"

Speaking to Pookia, Rasson asks, "Should people start lining up now to voice their concerns?"

Speaking to Cryheart, Lylia asks, "Oh, when has that ever happened?"

Speaking to Cryheart, Thrassus asks, "When has that stopped anybody?"

Speaking quietly to Cordarius, Hadya asks, "Do you know the name of the one appointed? The ah...baron?"

Cryheart says, "We can always hae hope."

Cordarius looks over at Hadya and shakes his head.

Speaking to Evia, Bellaja says, "Exactly my thought. There has to be something to wanting that location."

Speaking to Geijon, Chandrellia says, "Thats fine, let the wilderness be just that, but no greed has to set in and power grow, just shows some arent willing tobe satisfied with what they are given."

Speaking to Rasson, Pookia exclaims, "Yeah wheres the line!"

Mourdeyan says, "Never in this crowd."

Vaemyr says, "Aye the land directly in control of this town is not mentioned in the letter... however we will basically be bound to the new barony as they would suround us on all sides, all our trade would pass through it."

Speaking quietly to Cordarius, Hadya asks, "The Earl did not send you out with much, did he?"

Evia agrees with Bellaja.

Evia says, "Curious indeed."

Speaking to Evia, Bellaja says, "Who starts over in a land where little of inpmort grows."

Speaking wryly to Hadya, Tikba says, "He is just the messenger."

Kelfyr says, "One wonders whether the new settlers will be given such sterling choices as the current residents of this town in their futures."

Ulfwine asks, "Keep the Consortium out?"

Irval says, "More taxes..."

Cordarius says, "Well, I live and work here."

Bellaja corrects, "Import."

Cordarius nods at Hadya.

Cordarius says, "So he didn't send me, he just, sent me the letter."

Thrassus says, "I expect a ramshackle seige on the Outpost within the week."

Speaking to Kayse, Vaemyr says, "Sounds like we will... need to come up with a plan for the negotiations with the diplomats."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "How much it cohst fer me to rent da Shiller Grippinsh to be private army when me become Baron?"

[General] Khoal thinks, "Cant."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Geijon notes, "Earl Jovery has never presented himself other than as what he says, a supporter and ally of our city."

Speaking quietly to Cordarius, Hadya says, "I'm deeply sorry."

Evia says, "Well, we do have the flax."

Speaking to Cordarius, Pukk asks, "You're just a bonus that came with the letter?"

Speaking to Vaemyr, Kayse says, "I do not think we get a lot of say in the matter."

Bellaja muses, "I can see them all so grateful for a dust patch to farm."

Mourdeyan says, "Or we could wait to see if negotiations are needed."

Speaking amusedly to Pukk, Leafiara repeats, "Bonus, yes..."

Xorus asks, "Will there be a betting pool on the new ruler?"

Speaking to Vaemyr, Kayse says, "Regardless, we need more information before we can act."

Speaking quietly to Cordarius, Hadya says, "You do not seem ah, very popular."

Hadya quietly says, "With the fruit and sign and all..."

Speaking to Kayse, Vaemyr says, "About the barony? no, but we need to do the best to get the best deal as far as free trade and support for our town."

Speaking to Kayse, Perigourd says, "I expect they'll wish to meet with the council in any case."

Speaking to Geijon, Chandrellia says, "Sure.... thats why we have to handle every person tha tries to invade us and show their rears, cause the Earl has our back."

Speaking to Mourdeyan, Mauss murmurs, "Would dey even think o' us as a negotiatin' party?"

Cordarius says, "It is nothing new."

Cordarius nods at Hadya.

Speaking to Hadya, Ulfwine says, ""shooting the messenger."

Cordarius says, "I helped stop a plague, but still unpopular."

Speaking to Kayse, Khiya says, "Sounds more like a proclamation rather than an invitation."

Cordarius nods at Hadya.

Cordarius shrugs.

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk says, "I can see this going really bad."

Nairena says, "This place could use a strong and stable ruler."

Mourdeyan says, "A mob is not a negotiating party."

Speaking calmly to Pukk, Leafiara says, "Nah, I'm sure it's fine."

Speaking to Leafiara, Chandrellia says, "Ya know, its at this time I am so glad I havemy ship, I can venture out in teh ocean and not have a care in teh world."

Goldstr asks, "Is nar mayor Andrews still in Hendor wid Earl Jovery?"

Geijon says, "We do handle invaders here."

Cordarius says, "I mean, to be fair, invaders do not often send letters first."

Cordarius shrugs.

Cordarius says, "The Empire really isn't your enemy."

Speaking quietly to Cordarius, Hadya says, "No, they do not."

Kiyna muses, "Only the arrogant ones..."

Pukk laughs at Cordarius!

Cordarius says, "There's just some bad apples in the Empire. No different than here."

Pukk says, "Oh wait...you weren't joking."

Pukk laughs!

Speaking to Cordarius, Rasson says, "I think the worst kind send etters first..."

Tayler says, "I suppose that will depend on who is now liable for taxes, for those that reside outside the walls."

Pukk says, "Still funny."

Natisk says, "Friends don't usually annex lands a stone's throw from your city though."

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia says, "Yet they are not siatidfied with they already have, they have to take more, choke out more."

Lylia says, "Indeed, they are not an enemy of the Landing. But they are often a rather pushy friend."

Kelfyr says, "The outstretched hand of peace, while the other grips the reins."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Anyhow, how know letter real."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Perigourd says, "You speak as if those living in the empire aren't thriving."

[General] Beckstabber asks, "Have you tried the park?"

Evia says, "Speaking of bad apples."

Speaking to Cordarius, Rasson says, "With an army at the gate you know where they stand, a letter does not give much away."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Mauss says, "Like boilin' da frog slowly."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Perigourd says, "I don't think they're coming here to choke the life out of anyone."

Speaking to Lylia, Pukk asks, "A friendly enemy?"

Speaking quietly to Sevanya, Pookia says, "This stinks."

Speaking to Perigourd, Irval asks, "Paid many imperial taxes?"

Speaking to Perigourd, Chandrellia says, "Then why cant they just stay over there."

Speaking to Irval, Perigourd says, "I have before, yes."

Kiyna says, "Regardless of how we feel about it, Cordarius is but the messenger. Let's not harass him."

Guarrin says, "I will again mention that it is only through the intervention of the Earl that the Landing is still here."

Irval says, "Then you know what choking feels like."

Speaking to Irval, Tayler says, "He's... a Human, who lives within the Empire."

Vaemyr says, "This isn't a terrible situation, but we do need to have some strong negotiations with them about it. Our town has more experts about Darkstone castle, the Reach, and many of the areas mentioned than anyone else in the empire."

Tayler says, "I suspect he's quite familiar."

Pukk asks, "So, we kill the messenger?"

Cordarius bows to Kiyna.

Speaking to Irval, Chandrellia says, "I like shoking, just not like this."

Chandrellia says, "Choking."

Stormyrain says, "I suspect that when the Empire announces their claim on the Reach there will be --opposition. In one way or another."

Mourdeyan says, ""no, all the hecklers first."

Bellaja says, "I find in life there is often the reason one gives and then the real reason."

Evia says, "It will, I imagine bring a variety of business to our little berg."

Chandrellia says, "Well Counsilors, look slike you'll have your hands ful this term."

Vaemyr says, "Basically we do have some room for negotiations for benefits and guaruntees for the town."

Cordarius says, "There can be a large benefit for the Empire being a much closer neighbor than previously."

Thrassus says, "Perhaps they will be the ones to build a real wall around the town."

Geijon says, "Th' Reach is its own thing to try and tame for sure."

Guarrin notes, "I imagine this will benefit the consortium."

Speaking to Cordarius, Chandrellia asks, "Does Lady Larsya know aboutthis letter?"

Speaking quietly to Cordarius, Hadya asks, "Care to list them?"

Irval says, "I think it will take the identity of landing and its people away...when this happens."

Cordarius shrugs at Chandrellia.

Cordarius says, "She will soon enough."

Cordarius begins chuckling at Hadya!

Lylia says, "The Reach is rather infamously not within the Landing's direct jurisdiction. It was made quite clear, throughout Puptilian's term and my own, and probably during Cruxophim's intervening term, that the town's walls are the boundaries of its laws."

Tayler says, "As long as they patrol the roads and keep the trade lanes clear I have few issues, but I also do not own property that is about to be annexed."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Pukk exclaims, "Oh you just wait. When she finds out she will shoot him with her bow!"

Cordarius says, "I just said there was, who knows what they are yet."

Cordarius says, "Trade?"

Stormyrain dryly offers, "Yes, benefits if you are one that the Empire finds suitable. For those who live outside of the societal norms for the Empire, mayhaps not so much."

Cordarius peers quizzically at Hadya.

Cordarius shrugs.

Cordarius asks, "Protection for both?"

Speaking to Kayse, Guarrin says, "Facilitate certain trade routes."

Speaking quietly to Cordarius, Hadya says, "Taxed trade."

Speaking to Lylia, Evia says, "All these annoying little facts."

Speaking quietly to Cordarius, Hadya says, "I am from the Sea of Fire. You will have to do better."

Xorus says, "The Empire is one of those friends that compliments you on how much thinner that dress makes you look. But we do not wear that color on Feastday."

Pukk exclaims, "Hey! You showed up!"

Speaking fondly to Xorus, Leafiara says, "I love it."

Pukk says, "And you made a joke."

Speaking to Xorus, Perigourd asks, "So, fashionable then?"

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk says, "I'm scared."

Speaking to Pukk, Lylia says, "I said his name three times and sacrificed a kid."

Lylia adds, "By which I mean a young goat."

Raelee whispers something to Cordarius.

Tayler says, "Naturally."

Kiyna says, "There will be plenty of time for discussion, I imagine. For my part, I am... wary. However, this is the empire that repealed Chaston's Edict not long ago."

Xorus says, "I was about to ask."

Cryheart says, "A good point."

Irval says, "Sure that was the carrot."

Irval says, "Here comes the stick."

Speaking to Kiyna, Lylia says, "Just so, and a fine point."

Vaemyr says, "I mean, we were already looking at expanding some of our ties to the empire, with increasing trade and friendship with Bourthe."

Evia says, "A bit rather important to be dismissed as a carrot."

Tayler says, "As long as they keep their hands out of my wagons..."

Speaking in Faendryl, Lylia says something you don't understand.

Thrassus says, "There won't be a stick unless people act very unwisely."

Speaking to Tayler, Perigourd asks, "Don't you have vineyards in the empire?"

Ulfwine says, "I grew up the lands of Earl Jovery. No causes for complaint that I ever saw."

Speaking to Kiyna, Pukk says, "You should do what we did and just make a quick and rash judgement and condemn Cordarius."

Speaking to Perigourd, Tayler says, "Yes, but these are different wagons."

Nairena says, "They better not mess with the scotch barrels."

Speaking to Pukk, Kiyna says, "I'll consider it."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "It be dokay Lylia, me potect ye from da empire."

Bellaja skeptically says, "Yes. I can't wait to connect the dots that lead s what they're up to."

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk says, "Wow...I still got it."

Cordarius exclaims, "I am sure more will come soon!"

Cordarius says, "I must run for now."

Cordarius bows.

Speaking lightly to Pukk, Leafiara assures, "Never any doubt."

Lord Cordarius just entered the Moot Hall.

Discussion Afterward

Tayler says, "And he did."

Pukk yells, "Kill Cordarius!"

Tayler says, "Run..."

Tayler says, "Quite fast."

Geijon says, "He timed that well."

Pukk says, "I mean..."

Leafiara affably concludes, "Excellent night."

Pukk exclaims, "Give him a hug!"

Chandrellia sweetly says, "Bye Cordy."

Irval yells, "You can take that letter and you know where to shove it!"

Evia says, "Where shall these new neighbors be housed? there aren't houses out there."

Pukk says, "It was a honest mistake...really."

Cryheart says, "He was feeling the heat."

Speaking to Irval, Mauss says, "Nah, the author should."

Nairena says, "Snow."

Tikba says, "A problem for the new Baron to solve."

Cryheart says, "I am sure they will build them."

Speaking to Evia, Bellaja says, "I'm sure they will be kind enough to send tents."

Speaking amusedly to Evia, Guarrin asks, "Darkstone itself?"

Kiyna says, "Leave it to Thadston to take his time returning."

Mauss says, "Like I said, he wants ta boil da frog."

Lylia adds, "There may also be issues regarding local laws and customs, including the legality of demon summoning, oversight of the docks, preparations for town defenses..."

Perigourd says, "I expect they'll stay at the outpost for the time being."

Speaking to Perigourd, Tayler says, "As I mentioned before I have little issue with it, but I am concerned with previously freely transported goods now being held to a tariff, or something like that."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Hey, we need shrife and turmoil, utterwise we growed complacent."

Lylia says, "I do not envy the mayor. Or the Town Council."

Speaking to Lylia, Stormyrain murmurs, "Blood magic."

Sevanya says, "I'm not joining no stinking imperial army just cuz I defend the town."

Speaking evenly to Kiyna, Kayse says, "I am sure at this point it was planned to make a 'late' return."

Irval says, "I think we should do our own expansion..."

Chandrellia says, "Ok even if we are even some what ok with this, what aboutthe citizens and merchants of Landing how will they feel? we dont get to talk with them as much so we never know what is actually going on in their minds."

Speaking to Kiyna, Vaemyr says, "I'm sure he already knows about this, probably is tossing every chair in every inn out a window from here to Hendor, thus taking a while to get back as he has a lot of windows to repair."

Speaking to Lylia, Guarrin says, "That likely touches on your earlier comment regarding the extent of local law."

Speaking to Tayler, Ulfwine asks, ""I suppose it depends on what you get in return for the tariffs?"

Lylia says, "Or for that matter, the practice of sorcery and the registration of mages with the Hall."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Kayse offers, "Maybe he isn't upset?"

Evia says, "Yes because merchants just hate new customers."

Falvicar whispers something to Nairena.

Speaking to Ulfwine, Tayler says, "Naturally, if it means the roads are patrolled and I do not need to hire guards anymore, it may be worth it."

Hadya quietly says, "It would be nice to know whom this Baron will be...prepare a bit before meeting them. I like to know whom it is I'm dealing with beforehand, that just doesn't seem to be my fate of late."

Speaking to Vaemyr, Kiyna says, "Improving the glassmaker's commissions in each settlement he passes, what a philanthropist."

Speaking to Kayse, Vaemyr says, "Maybe? we'll know when we talk to him I guess."

Leafiara absently says, "Oh, Owly stayed in the square..."

Tayler says, "But most of my goods have shipped via sea since I started investing in ships."

Ulfwine says, "Much that we do not know right now."

Tikba says, "The letter seemed careful to note that Darkstone will not extend to the Landing itself."

Rasson says, "Is mother still a thing? don't see that group to open to change."

Missoni says, "Perhaps it will usher in a more lenient Empire where such practices are concerned. I do not have any issue practicing Sorcery in Solhaven, though, and am registered with the local guild."

Geijon says, "Again, re-check the areas Jovery mentioned would fall under this realm. It's not hospitable land."

Tikba says, "Merely to its doorstep."

Guarrin says, "The appointment will tell us much."

Speaking to Leafiara, Pukk says, "I fed Owly my heart...he seemed to like it."

Raelee states, "Sorcery is not actually outlawed within the Empire."

Speaking to Geijon, Chandrellia asks, "Then why go after it?"

Lylia notes, "We may also be discussing a baroness and not a baron, not that this matters."

Irval says, "This is an invasion basically without the bloodshed."

Xorus says, "The 'bookies' will have to set the numbers for us. 3 to 1, Larsya. 5 to 1, Thadston... that kind of thing."

Speaking quietly to Geijon, Hadya agrees, "It is not, I imagine they will have a hard time settling it."

Speaking to Chandrellia, Geijon says, "Because th' Earl is protecting th' region, at his peoples loss, more than likely."

Pukk asks, "Maybe Mother will be our Baroness?"

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Pirate Baronesh Larsya has nice ring toit."

Speaking to Geijon, Tayler says, "You do not go for what you want straight away."

Speaking to Irval, Nairena says, "That would be a first for this place."

Speaking flatly to Pukk, Lylia says, "I hope not."

Speaking amiably to Irval, Leafiara claims, "We've had amazing allies from the Hall of Mages, Church of Koar, White Sparrows, Red Brigade, and other Imperial organizations in the past. No need for any fears whatsoever."

Speaking to Irval, Kiyna says, "And we should be glad of that if it is. If it wanted to, the Empire could crush us like a bug."

Khiya says, "I hope you all realzie that the Empnire doesn't work like things here. A Baron is a Baron and you don't just take his title easily."

Guarrin says, "Someone more magically inclined may be more suited. Given the location selected."

Speaking to Geijon, Tayler says, "If you read the histories of annexations, they are typically slow moving processes."

Geijon says, "This announcement is causing strain so I'd like to allow people to absorb it."

Khiya says, "He is the LAW for his area and his decisions aren't up for debate."

Tayler says, "Today, the river, next year, the lake."

Chandrellia says, "I dont know, so far every time someone says hey, we're here to help, we're here as friends we get stabbed in the back, makes me very wary of anyone that doesnt spend quality time with us and teh citizerns."

Nairena says, "Like a king."

Kelfyr says, "If I was going to initiate a barony in a wild and unruly territory, basing it in an existing castle would be a reasonable location. Current residents notwithstanding."

Cryheart says, "Time will tell."

Lylia says, "Indeed. I do not think many of us here are as familiar with the concept of governance versus rule."

Speaking to Nairena, Khiya says, "Yes. Nobility in it's full regalia."

Speaking to Tayler, Geijon says, "Within a window that might be true, but not within th' scope of what Hendor has done in th' past."

Cryheart says, "The angst here is thick."

Pukk exclaims, "Well I won't stand for this!"

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Kingsh were made to be overtrowed."

Speaking quietly to Lylia, Tikba says, "I am."

Speaking to Cryheart, Mauss says, "I notice that letter ain' say nothin' about a timeframe or a date."

Evia says, "Crowd certainly enjoys looking to the most grim aspect of situations."

Cryheart says, "Aye."

Speaking to Geijon, Tayler says, "Perhaps, yet they do appear to be turning over many new leaves these days."

Speaking to Raelee, Perigourd says, "We were discussing this very thing not long back."

Speaking to Evia, Pukk says, "Welcome to landing."

Speaking to Evia, Chandrellia says, "I'm used to it."

Irval says, "If I am to be squashed like a bug then. I'll make sure at least im a scarab and will take them down from the inside."

Speaking to Evia, Bellaja says, "History tells us to prepare for the worst."

Speaking in Elven, Kelfyr says something you don't understand.

Speaking to Raelee, Perigourd says, "This is what whiskey is for."

Lylia says, "As is anyone who grew up under the aegis of the Patriarch."

Bernadette softly says, "Mebbe dey negotiating fer when dem take us over."

Speaking to Bellaja, Evia says, "True enough."

Speaking to Perigourd, Raelee says, "I do not think whiskey will change anything in the immediate future."

Stormyrain abruptly says, "If you will all excuse me."

Gutstorm surreptitiously slaps a bright pink heart-shaped sign reading "FREE HUGS!" on Stormyrain's back.

Speaking to Falvicar, Nairena says, "Thanks brother."

Gutstorm drunkenly slurs, "Shneep well."

Stormyrain just went east.

Speaking to Gutstorm, Pukk says, "Good one."

Tikba murmurs, "Oh, the sign."
