Swabbing Starts

Swabbing Starts is a shop in Kraken's Fall that sells ships, ship supplies, and/or upgrades for Open Sea Adventures and specializes in ship's hull. It is located in a glaes-windowed stucco storefront on Siphon Street in Kraken's Fall. You may also customize a ship's gangplank in this shop.

The proprietor is a hull merchant. His name is Poel. Lenny, a gangplank merchant, is located in the southeast room

Swabbing Starts

Starlight slips in through the glaes windows that dominate the southern section of the shop, the silvery light shining off of the polished planks that are on display. Signs over each grouping denote the types of wood and dyes available for purchase, while others denote which are for upper decks and which are for interior use. A wide oak counter edged in brass railings sits upon a slate blue rug, while a sign above proclaims, "Order Here" in bold, blocky letters. You also see a wooden plank sign and a hull merchant.

Long wooden planks hang from the exposed rafters of the ceiling, each with a plaque tacked to the planed surface listing the type, color, and finish used in its creation. Along the southeastern wall, a series of cubbyholes housing a variety of receipts, paperwork, and order forms stretches from floor to ceiling, while a wide oak counter separates the open space of the shop from the recordkeeping section. Lenny, the shop's merchant, keeps a watchful eye from behind the counter. You also see a wooden plank sign.
