The Wage and Dagger Eatery is an eatery in South Haven, around Solhaven, that sells food. The proprietor is Tuathal. It is located at Southbay Road, off of the Crooked Way. Rumor has it that disciples of Onar frequent the tavern. There is general seating in the downstairs area, which includes five private tables at its tavern.

| Dull dark mahogany panels the entryway of the establishment, the wood probably once rich but now dusty and unpolished. Plain egg-and-dart wainscotting adds some definition and design to the otherwise boring walls, splintering in several spots where it remains intact. A flight of crooked wooden stairs leads up to a small landing, and double-width lintelled doors brace the hallway on each side. The stairs lead to the second floor, where there are two latching rooms, the Grey Room (haon door) and the Black Room (ebonwood door). The Grey Room offers crystalline pear brandy for guests; the Black Room has a ruby port.

| Thick indigo velvet curtains have been opened to admit the sunlight, allowing diners to actually see what they're eating, which may be a mistake considering the neglected surroundings. Although some of the food aromas are enticing, the wafting scent of mildew threatens to spoil the appetite. Serving wenches move quietly between the tables, balancing stacks of plates along both arms. You also see a chalked daily specials slateboard and several chairs set around an empty table. | |

| Blue-grey smoke fills the room to the rafters, making what little illumination that exists appear soft and hazy. Heavy indigo velvet curtains are pulled tightly together and a small hearth glows with sanguine embers, yet fails to throw off any heat into the room. Set along the back wall in the shadows is a counter that matches the other dark furnishings in the room, blending altogether in a seamless caliginosity. Small groupings of tables and chairs are scattered at a discreet distance from each other. | |

| Barely wide enough for one person, the busy hallway runs from the kitchen out to the tavern and eatery. Oil lamps glow dimly and do little to dispel the shadows. Somewhat disorienting is the fact that the swinging door at the far end doesn't sit square in the jamb, giving the illusion that the building is slightly tilted. | |
