Tierus Morvaenus Faendryl was raised to the worship of Sheru by a cultist grandfather. An iconoclast to the core, he bucked his family's traditions and fled into the west. For a time, he served as a mendicant in the Order of Ronan, but the stresses of his childhood drove him mad, resulting in a separate personality dubbed "Terror" by the bardess Nofret Hrist. He was forcibly healed of this affliction during an encounter with the Mularosian Pain Lord, Eryael, after which Tierus dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the service of the Dark Arkati, and was named the Tear of Mularos. Once Eryael was banished beyond the walls of the world, Tierus voyaged into the Empire, visiting the Wizardwaste and the Sea of Fire. Since his return to the northwest, he has devoted himself to the study of pain in all its forms.

He is of a towering height. He appears to be young and robust. He has dark-rimmed, intense sapphire eyes and darkly bronzed skin. He has spiked, sandy blond hair darkened by dusky lowlights. He has a straight patrician nose and thickly muscled broad shoulders. His chin and cheeks are dusted with heavy dark golden stubble.

He has a metallic crimson tear on his neck.

He is in good shape.

He is wearing a small sandruby ear stud, an ivory hanged man pendant, a garnet-buttoned charcoal wool coat, a crisp white collared silk shirt, a set of pale morduska hide casting leathers graced with translucent crimson scales, a shackle-bound dark suede casting glove, a red-lacquered pale mein ring, a ruby-set black ora signet, a weathered dark leather pouch, some buttoned charcoal wool trousers, and a pair of well-oiled dark leather boots.
