Now is the Write Time

[Now is the Write Time]
An imposing mistwood writing desk paired with a tall, straight-backed chair is arranged in front of a large window, a rolling cart laid out with a silver tea set parked nearby. Thick with dust, the shelves inside a large cabinet are stocked with bins of parchment, stacks of note cards, and assorted ornate glass bottles. A fluffy white cat peeks out from a white wicker bin filled with discarded stationery.
Obvious exits: north, out
In the Common language, it reads:

The stationery boxes on the desk will stack your loose paper for easier storage. The box can be locked to secure your stationery accessories, and keys are found in the desk. The cabinet is stocked with paper and various perfumes to scent your stationery.

[Now is the Write Time, Storage]
Partially concealed behind a parchment screen, the polished hardwood floor is littered with crumpled paper beneath a spindly-legged escritoire piled high with vellum and near-empty ink wells. Sleek feathers and ostentatious plumes hang from the ceiling by nearly invisible silk threads over a small mistwood worktable in one corner.
Obvious exits: south
In the Common language, it reads:

The quills can be worn behind your ear for a distinctive look. The inkpots work well with the quills, but be careful you don't smudge your skin after handling! The cloths in the bin will help you clean up.

[Now is the Write Time, Workroom]
Folded paper flowers are tacked to the walls amidst an abstract mural of stationery scraps scribbled with handwriting samples. A square, cobalt glass inkpot lies overturned on top of a long oaken table, the spilled ink staining the wood and dribbling on to the polished hardwood floor. A thick-legged oak stool has been claimed by a black cat with a fluffy, white-tipped tail.
