Plasma critical table

Plasma critical table:

Spells such as Smite/Bane (302), Divine Fury (317), Flaming Aura (1706), and the bolt spells Empathic Assault (1110) and Balefire (713), as well as flares from the Paladin weapon enhancement spells Consecrate (1604) and Crusade (1618), can cause plasma critical injuries. This table has damage values for both CS/flare and AS (bolt spell) based attacks. Bolt spell damage values, where they differ from CS attack damage are listed in ( ) in the table's damage column.

EXAMPLE:

• ABDOMEN, RANK 4, DAMAGE 20 (15)

The rank 4 abdomen crit will generally result in 20 damage from CS based attacks and 15 damage from AS based (bolt spell) attacks. In this example the (15) raw damage was from Empathic Assault (1110). Critical damage from bolt spells is non-variable for each crit rank/body location.

The CS based damage values (hit points) for each critical rank/body location can be variable depending on target resistance along with other factors such as level vs. level. However, the associated injury ranks, stuns, knockdowns and instant deaths do not vary.

NOTES:

1. There a few bolt spell damage values still to be verified. These are designated (?) in the damage columns. Where there is no ( ) indicates that the damage is the same for both CS and AS attacks.
2. There are two odd criticals, the Rank 5 and 6 CHEST**, which are always fatal when caused by a CS-based attack or flare but will only leave a level 2 injury (deep lacerations) to the body. When the Rank 5 or 6 CHEST critical results from an AS-based attack the result is non-fatal with a level 2 injury and 5 or 6 round stun, respectively.
3. The bolt damage values are a bit messy. e.g., the Rank 9 Right Leg critical damage is 45 while the Rank 9 Left Leg is 30.
