The scriplender now has a 250 bloodscrip cap on her fee.
There was a bug that allowed you to die in the heist and still earn max rewards as long as you did some specific actions. This has been resolved.

Subject: Duskruin Wrap Up
Just wanted to take a moment to make sure things are very clear before we begin closing up the event.
This is the last run of the current HESS (and possibly many of the shops, for that matter). Last year, we announced that shop refreshing would happen once a year. With only two Duskruins planned a year moving forward instead of 3 or 4, that means next run is our refresh. Nothing in HESS is guaranteed to come back as is or for the same price. Current item properties will have more of an impact on certain certificates. We'll be discussing this internally and posting about it at a later time. I just want to make sure it's known before the end of the run.
With that said, I'll be sure to refresh the returned/exchanged things one last time before the end of the event. Likely this (shopping) weekend.
During the weekend, I am going to do a much lower-end event where I offer some Lesser Moods, GoryWeapons, and some other minor things that have been requested. Maybe sprinkle in some other things too, we'll see. This will likely happen on Sunday around 11am ET. If that changes, I'll let you know before that.

Subject: Arena Update: RT Locked Opponents
I've added a better check to see if the opponent you're facing has been placed into RT by a disabler like feint. If they are in more RT than usual, they cannot perform a hazard (traps). Keep in mind, they can do hazards when they are in their normal routine RT from attacking.

Subject: Heal Routine Update: Symbol of Mana
The Symbol of Mana cooldown is now removed on exit of the arena or heist.
And just in case I forgot to post it, so is the Mana Leech one. I don't remember if I did.

Subject: Beyond Rock and Rubble...
Toiling away to clear the debris, brave adventures struggled to find the treasures that awaited them beyond a stone-clogged barricade found buried within a fissure adjacent to the Underground Temple in Bloodriven Village. As fresh air rushed into the ancient cavern, dozens of earth elementals, krynch, and stone giants surged through to attack the intruders as they attempted to lay claim to the hidden nest. Battling valiantly, despite numerous casualties, the group put down the incredibly strong threat and began investigating the archeological site.
Faint whispers, shadows, and ghosts danced upon the dust-filled passageway as the explorers gazed upon murals that had been painted upon the walls. None-too-subtle in their travels, the group found more minions of the dark lying in wait for them. Minotaurs! Mages and Warriors prowled the halls! Why would they be here? How did they get in? What was their purpose? Silence was the only answer, which deepened with each horned bovines’ death. Would they return? None could say.
As the gentle sound of plinking water echoed through the halls, the sounds of battle fading to a memory, the adventurers found themselves gazing at the terminus of the passage where an enormous door, dripping with eldritch energy, stood waiting. Even the mummified remains of a dwarf, found tucked into a shelf on the cavern's walls, had no answers, a cryptic note...
<Never could figure out a way to open that door... Escape so close at hand, on both ends of this tunnel, but no hope in them.
Seeking answers, the adventurers turned to the bard in their midst, and that bard began to unravel the tale trapped within murals. With answers in hand, the group whispered to the door and stepped into a new arena. In this arena, they were greeted with nothing but death. Demons prowled upon the tortured landscape, some few caught within a cage of pain and misery. Perhaps the tale of the Arena’s Founders was better left undiscovered after all...
---
Special thank you to all the adventurers that played with us on opening night and worked hard to uncover the mystery and story of the new section in the Underground Temple. Thanks to the bards that worked in each instance, the story can be found on RECALL and shared with all.
GM Modrian was kind enough to code the loresong, GM Estild was instrumental in getting the RECALL taken care of for each mural and painting, GM Galene created the entire monk body and his possessions, GM Haliste, GM Tivvy, GM Isten, and GM Flannihan assisted with QC, general questions, and refinement of the tale that was told, while GM Netz created the wonderful mood messaging that fills the area. The new area is permanent and there are two shrines in this area that can be SENSED by a cleric.

Subject: Compartmentalized Quiver unlock certificates - February 2019
The backroom of Bundle Up will be restocked with unlock certificates for the Compartmentalized Quivers for this run.
I've been allowed to make all certificates EXCEPT the T1 to T2 certificate unlimited in quantity, though there will be some scaling pricing as a result. We'll see how this goes for this particular run.
I've not yet decided whether there will be a delayed opening of the backroom this time or not, but I will be sure to announce on this thread if this is the case prior to the opening of Duskruin.
Thanks!

Just a note that the backroom of Bundle Up will be open at the opening of Duskruin itself and won't be delayed.
Scaling pricing is in effect for the T0 to T1 unlock certificate (3%) and the compartment certificate (10%), but they are unlimited in total quantity. There are only 2 T1 to T2 unlock certificates available and there will be a 50% scaling. All certificates will be in the backroom.
Platinum and Shattered will not have scaling pricing and just have limited amounts - the same as they were last run.

Subject: Spellbound: +Enchanting/Ensorcelling Potions
Debuting in Spellbound at this Duskruin are 2 new potions that enhance the caster's enchanting or ensorcelling skill. The bonus is the same as +500 extra spell ranks when attempting to cast each spell. You can hold the potion in your hand when casting at the actual item to see the difficulty result as if you had used the potion. The enchanting potion will have 10 doses (enough for a 10x enchant) and the ensorcelling potion will have 1 dose (enough for any tier). The price is 50k with 10% scaling, limit of 10 each. Just to be up front, while that is a large bonus, it's not enough for claidhmores and the such.

Subject: Spellbound: +Enchanting/Ensorcelling Potions
Re: zelnorn and other -999 materials, those will be outright blocked even with the potion. Those values were previously set because it was intended that enchanting/ensorcelling skill would never reach that point. These potions change that, but their goal isn't to make explicitly disallowed materials to now be reachable, but instead to allow you to overcome stacked properties (weight + enchanting + flares, etc).

On the wooden shelf in Spellbound:
The 'wispy orange brew' is the enchanting potion. The 'dark swirling draught' is the ensorcelling potion.
(This information is also detailed on the note (sign) in the shop).
