The ground floor of this little structure resembles a study, its many shelves overflowing with aged tomes and scrolls. Within a glass case, three books sit on special display, while on a shelf beside them rest sheaves of neatly organized papers. You also see a narrow set of stairs and an arched doorway.

The same shade of rich, royal purple dominates nearly every surface of this chamber, from the plush woven rug underfoot to the rune-stitched pennants dangling overhead. Bookcases and cabinets line the chamber's walls, their shelves padded with matching purple felt and piled high with sheaves of papers for sale. Every surface of this chamber is cast in white and glass. A painted white staircase connects the chamber to the floor above, while a hint of purple indicates the way to the stairs leading back down.

Flickering candlelight creates more shadow than illumination in the cramped cobblestone room, which is deprived of windows and floored with packed dirt. Thick wrought iron pegs line the eastern wall, each laden with a different mask, while wicker baskets are arranged upon the floor opposite an oak and copper door. A coal-filled blackened brazier emits a warm, inviting orange light, though it does little to heat anything further than a handspan from its home on the eastern side of the room.

Dampness clings to the cracked stone walls of this lopsided hut, making the enclosed space perpetually moist and musty. Guttering candles, their flames a sullen blue, are scattered around a central stone altar and the prayer rug laid out in front of it, the various items arrayed on top of them subtly reflecting the eerie light. Wind constantly seeps into the area, sending the ragged animal hide over the door fluttering every so often. You also see a dark opening.

The weapons and shields in this room, as well as the one to the north, contain the trapped spirit of an animal. Be warned - they are wild and untamed, often lashing out in anger at those they do not know. Tame them and partner with them, however, to soothe the wild spirit within. Attack with them and their bestial power will be unleashed on your enemies in the form of Animalistic Fury flares, the strength of them increasing as the spirit's trust in you grows. With much of the exterior structure partially buried in the ground, the cracked stone walls of this edifice are covered in a mixture of clinging dampness and dirt that stain them a murky brown. Guttering candles, their flames a livid green, are scattered around a cracked stone altar and the armor stand next to it, the eerie light glinting off the items arrayed on top of them. The air is stuffy and still, the accumulated dirt and mold creating a musty smell that clings to everything. You also see a dark opening.

The armor in this room contains the trapped spirit of an animal. Be warned - they are wild and untamed, often lashing out in anger at those they do not know. Tame them and partner with them, however, to soothe the wild spirit within. When you are hit in combat, the spirit within will lash out defensively with Animalistic Instinct flares that will disorient and knock down your attacker, the spirit's bestial power increasing as its trust in you grows. Visit the shrine through the opening to unlock their further potential. In the shop next door, you will find weapons and shields to pair with these items.

Inkpots are not necessary, as the pages have a magical element to them. You may erase what you've written by CLEANing the page. You may TEAR the page to *permanently* remove it from the book. PUSH, TURN, and FLIP will allow you to work with the individual pages.

The haphazardly nailed closet is both narrow, yet oddly spacious. An oversized steel birdcage stands guard over a number of rolled up maps, the scrawled renderings of mysterious locales laid bare between stains of ale and saltwater. A torn hemp net decorates the back wall, dangling random props that sway with every movement of the wagon.
