The Plague Mask first sold at The Sable Quietus in Bloodriven Village during December 2018 Duskruin Arena run. Originally selling for 2k bloodscrip for T1 mask that holds 1 cartridge. The mask is designed to allow the wearer to cast either unpoison or undisease on themselves, the choice depends on the cartridge that is currently installed. When worn, the mask acts similar to Feature Concealing Masks in that it blocks certain features and actions by the wearer and replaces them with different responses. In 2019 it was updated to have special functionality with Duskruin Plague Cowls. In 2020 it was updated to have special functionality with the Duskruin Plague Overcoat. AnalyzeYou analyze your stork mask and sense that the creator has provided the following information: This a Duskruin Plague Mask. When a cartridge is inserted into it, it will give the mask the ability to remove either a poison (with a poison cartridge) or disease (with a disease cartridge) that may be affecting you. A white leather stork mask with scarlet-encircled eyes can be customized in the following ways: Goggle Lenses: Color (Examples: rose, blue, etc.) - Currently scarlet Goggle Lenses: Material (Examples: crystal, glass, glaesine) - Currently glass Mask Nose: (Examples: beak, snout, bill) - Currently beak Do not change the noun! When the mask is worn it blocks visibility of the following features: eyes, nose, mouth, face, facial hair, and some distinguishing marks/unique features. The mask is 1 (OTS) out of 3 tiers. It has access to the following verbs: Pull, Push, Remove, Tap, Touch, and Wear. It does not have a cartridge in the left ventilation shaft at this time and the right is blocked by cotton. When the appropriate cartridge is in place, you can use TAP to unpoison. Conversely, when the appropriate cartridge is in place, you can use TOUCH to undisease. Default messaging will happen when a cartridge is not present. Warning: You will use a charge each time you tap or touch the mask, even if you are not poisoned or diseased. This is because the ventilation system within is still cycling the appropriate chemicals for your health. You get no sense of whether or not the mask may be further lightened. Verb Traps
