Custom Grasp of the Grave

Custom Grasp of the Grave is a type of advanced spell customization which gives new or otherwise unique appearances to appendages summoned by the Grasp of the Grave (709) spell. Pre-written custom appendages are available at various festivals, pay events, and at Bayview Villa on Mist Harbor. Fully custom appendages are delayed service when the player is writing their own. Custom Grasp of the Grave appendages are part of the Player Customization System and are managed via the CUSTOM verb.

Note: Only three appendanges can have their appearances changed via a Grasp of the Grave customization. There will always be some default appearing appendages mixed in with those summoned by the spell.

A set of three appendages can be customized via a custom Grasp of the Grave service. The ONLY valid nouns for this customization are: appendage(s), arm(s), claw(s), limb(s), palpus, palpi, pincer(s), and tentacle(s). If the noun is singular, it will only be used to replace an arm. Using only plural options is valid, but not recommended since the plural versions are uncommon. Appendages can have long descriptions.

a pair of blood red scarab pincers, a pair of onyx scarab pincers, a translucent scarab pincer

a trio of black onyx tentacles, a quartet of enruned granite tentacles, a black obsidian tentacle

a seaweed-like bay nettle arm of milky white, a transparent bay nettle arm displaying rippled edges, a rippled bay nettle arm illuminated in bioluminescent filaments

a desiccated fleshy arm covered in torn and moldy fabric, an exposed-bone dangling bits of rotted flesh, a pale and pasty white arm displaying bone-exposing rents in the flesh

a barbed oily black tentacle, a violet-veined leathery black tentacle, a quartet of oil-slick black tentacles
