The Grand Banquet itself is the main event of the festival, and it is traditionally hosted by Clan Leader Rodverg. In addition, there are a variety of roleplay opportunities over the weekend, which focus on dwarven culture and some of the unique aspects of life in Zul Logoth.


In addition to several carts placed out with items for sale, merchants offer services to those attending.
Curving from the base to the lid, the handle of this sterling silver stein has been cast with elaborate scrollwork. The thumb lift on the lid is cast in the same style as the handle, meeting it at a small hinge that secures a fluted lid. Smooth rings circle the lip and base of the highly polished main body, which is affixed with a crossed pick and shovel crest to the right of the handle.
There appears to be something written on it.

Clan Leader Rodverg of Zul Logoth calls on all dwarves and invites everyone of festive mood to the Crystalline Caverns in Zul Logoth for a Grand Banquet the last Feastday of Eoantos! The stores are full and the Grevnek dwarves reflect on the prosperity of the past year as they settle in for the winter with a plentiful bounty.

On Eoantos 26th preparation for the banquet will begin as the most talented cooks in the best kitchens prepare the goods collected from topside while a huge banquet table is constructed in the Crystalline Cavern by the monument for everyone to partake in the prosperity of the clan.

Early the same evening some opportunistic merchants will set out carts with goods for blacksmiths and hunters over the weekend. Some may even be on hand to do some work!

On Feastday, Eoantos 27th, Brother Bixsby of the Temple will hold a discourse on Eonak and his meaning to the dwarves at 430pm EST followed by the Grand Banquet itself at 6pm EST, hosted by Clan Leader Rodverg. This is simply a social event where participants eat, drink, tell stories, sing songs, and be thankful. It ends when it ends!

DETAILS

Brother Bixsby in collaboration with Brother Barnstel and Sister Cocytel have been hard at work in the Temple laboratory concocting batches of various BANE OILS. They have produced a variety of applications that work against the foes of Zul Logoth and elsewhere with varying effects. Look for a brass HANDCART in the Emerald Tunnel at the entrance to the temple.

Blacksmith Igvan has collected a fine assortment of FORGING ITEMS for the aspiring or journeyed blacksmith. He will also be selling some of his stock of RARE SLABS as well as holding raffles for a slab of golvern, veil iron, and eonake. His ironwood display CART will be parked down the slope from Stonehammer's Forging Supply Shop.

The banquet itself will be a feast for all tastes and there will be a SOUVENIR to take home so you can have a memento of your time feasting in the tunnels of Zul Logoth with the dwarves! It will be set up in the Crystalline Cavern by the monument.
