In the harsh times following the [[Undead War]], the Ardenai expanded their foraging parties. This lead to an infringement on the grazing grounds of the ponies of the [[Brughan]] halflings. At the end of the war, the Ardenai used sorcery to kill the ponies of the halflings. Ashamed of their own behavior, the Ardenai do not speak of the atrocity. |

The House of Ardenai was one of the seven noble houses of elves. Elves of Ta'Ardenai were well known as hunters and archers.
The Ardenai were among the most disliked of the elven city-states by halflings, as a result of the Horse War. In the harsh times following the Undead War, the Ardenai expanded their foraging parties.
