Gambling kits originated with the merchant Gostahl who owned the Albatross gambling boat. Many different types of gambling kits were released on the Albatross and through Droughtman's Maze, some with games, some without, all of which held a quantity of silvers weightlessly, similar to the effect of the spell Relieve Burden. This feature can be extremely beneficial in the Rift, where there is a limit to how many silvers one can carry out in his/her pockets.

Tier 2
Tier 2 Gambling Kits analyze as fully unlocked. Unlocked Gambling Kits are capable of storing silvers inside. Unless the kit has an additional weightless coin storage applied to it, the silvers inside are not weightless.

Unlocked Gambling Kits can unfold into a table that can be placed on the ground, which shows up in the room when the kit is opened up and PLACEd onto the floor. This table can be customized by a merchant. Gambling Kits are not janitor-proof when placed out as a table.
Kits can also be PLACEd on the ground, after which they turn into a completely different item. In this example, the case turns into a sideboard.

Weightless Coin Storage
Weighless coin storage is a separate unlock that is typically only present on Tier 3 or (sometimes) Tier 2 Gambling Kits. The available coin storage is now weightless up to a certain threshold, which may vary. Weightless coin storage capacities available at Duskruin have included 5k, 10k, and 25k silvers amounts. Higher amounts of 50k silvers have been available even more rarely, such as at special auctions. Weightless coin storage is noted specifically in the Gambling Kit's analyze information if it is present.

Additional Information
You estimate that a bejeweled quartz stone sideboard embossed with a coiled maze roa'ter can store a medium amount with enough space for any number of items of small size. It also appears that a fairly small amount can be stored on the sideboard.<br>
Prior to their availability at Duskruin, both special features (gambling games) and weightless coin storage were considered "auction" tier unlocks, however both are now substantially more accessible.

Fully unlocked "auction level" kits have been released that hold 50,000 silvers and have both games, and other kits exist that hold various silver quantities in between. Some have even been released as spell knowledge items with various spells. Some of the games that might be installed on a Gambling Kit include Roulette and Adventure Wheel.

Verb Game First Third
PEER - As you peer at the red oak case, you see a small piece of paper containing the rules for roulette and adventure wheel.

Roulette
The game of roulette consists of a wheel with 38 stops and a silver ball. Each stop is slotted so that the ball can rest after the wheel spins. Adventure Wheel
The adventure wheel consists of a wheel with 100 spots, a lever, and a red arrow. Once you turn the lever, the wheel will spin, and once the wheel comes to a stop, the red arrow will point at a symbol on the wheel. The creature symbols include kobolds, roltons, goblins, orcs, trolls, thraks, krolvin, shan, trali, hisskra, grutik, centaur, burgee, wyverns, minotaurs, elementals, griffins, and undead.

Prior to their availability at Duskruin, both special features (gambling games) and weightless coin storage were considered "auction" tier unlocks, however both are now substantially more accessible.

Fully unlocked "auction level" kits have been released that hold 50,000 silvers and have both games, and other kits exist that hold various silver quantities in between. Some have even been released as spell knowledge items with various spells. Some of the games that might be installed on a Gambling Kit include Roulette and Adventure Wheel.

Availability

Locked Gambling Kits are sold on the Albatross, where the script debuted, in the Albatross Gift Shop for silvers while Gambling Kit with varying unlocks are sold at Duskruin in Gamac's Goods.
