Part of the I Dream of Geology Series that was introduced in the shop More Ore Less at Rings of Lumnis's Agora Promenade, the Mini Smelter is designed to meltdown ores that can be found at Duskruin Arena and turn them into jewelery.
The Mini-Smelter can melt down ores to turn them into jewelry, which can then have a gemstone adornment added. It is part of the I Dream of Geology Series that was introduced in the shop More Ore Less at Rings of Lumnis's Agora Promenade. It can use ores that are stored in the Oremonger. Jewelry made by the Mini-Smelter can also function with Jeweler's Pliers after a gemstone adornment has been added.

You analyze your pewter bangle and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

Created by the Mini Smelter, which is part of the "I Dream of Geology Series," the bangle can have a gemstone added to it for decorative purposes.

To do this, hold a gemstone in one hand and the bangle in the other.

SPIN the bangle to select your preferred design (there are 5 to choose from) and then PUSH your bangle to set the gemstone in place.

WARNING: Once this is done, the gemstone cannot be retrieved and the bangle becomes a piece of unscripted jewelry.

Current Setting: a wide pewter bangle thinly inlaid with <gemstone adj.> <gemstone plural noun>

Mini-Smelter

The Mini-Smelter is used to melt down small ores to turn them into jewelry. Additional jewelry options are available with each tier unlocked.

Tier 1

A Tier 1/OTS Mini-Smelter is able to make bangles and ferronieres.

Analyze

You analyze your terracotta smelter and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

The Mini-Smelter

Here to turn your Duskruin Arena Ore into jewelry, the smelter is part of the "I Dream of Geology Series."

Jewelry Creation Instructions

1. Place a piece of duskruin ore in the smelter
2. RUB a gold wand or CAST Minor Fire at the smelter
3. SPIN the smelter to set your jewelry article type
4. TURN the smelter to set your jewelry noun type
5. GAZE at the smelter to check your settings
6. TOUCH the smelter to create your jewelry, and then PULL it out.

It's that simple!

All jewelry items created by the smelter can, once created, have gemstones pushed into them to create a long description.

The smelter is tier 1 out of 4.

Verb Options: cast (Minor Fire, Fire Spirit, Firestorm, or Templar's Verdict), gaze (see settings), glance (see all noun options), ponder (see all article options), pull (remove ore or jewelry item), rub (add charges from gold wand), spin (cycle through article options), touch (create jewelry), turn (cycle through noun options), and whisper (jump to noun or article)

Jewelry Options: bangle, ferroniere

Current Jewelry: ferroniere

Alterations: You may alter the smelter, but it must remain of an appropriate design and material to represent a miniature smelting device. It has a stock LOOK, therefore it can only support a LONG description.

Usage

Verb First Third
CAST (appropriate spell) This section has not been added yet; please add to it now! This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
GAZE
(ore)
As you gaze down the chimney of your terracotta smelter, you look beyond the pewter ore on the slotted shelf to the base below where {a bangle} impression sits. Leaning back, you recognize that the rune for a jewelry article meaning {"a wide"} is illuminated, while the rune for fire is {dull/pulsating}. n/a
GAZE
(jewelry)
As you gaze down the chimney of your terracotta smelter, you look beyond {a wide pewter bangle} resting on a slotted shelf to the base below where a bangle impression sits. Leaning back, you recognize that the rune for a jewelry article meaning {"a wide"} is illuminated, while the rune for fire is {dull/pulsating}. n/a
PULL Pulling the lid off of your terracotta smelter, you easily pluck a wide pewter bangle from the inner base and close it once more. Pulling the lid off of his terracotta smelter, Jenny easily plucks a wide pewter bangle from the inner base and closes it once more.
PUT {ore} in my {smelter} Lifting the chimney-like cover of the smelter, you place a lump of pewter ore on the slotted tray and then return the cover to its resting place. Lifting the chimney-like cover of the smelter, XXXX places a lump of pewter ore on the slotted tray and then returns the cover to its resting place.
RUB (golden wand) Running your golden wand against the lower series of arcane runes that decorate the chimney of your terracotta smelter, you feel a discharge of heat as the charges from the wand are pulled from it and into the smelter. XXXX runs his golden wand against a series of arcane runes that ring the lower half of the piece's chimney, causing a discharge of energy to briefly warm the air.
SPIN Dragging your finger across the middle band of runes that decorates the chimney of your terracotta smelter, you watch as the symbol spins about and transforms into the symbol for "a thick-chained." XXXXX spins the lid of his terracotta smelter.
TURN Turning the base of your terracotta smelter, you glance down the chimney to see that the impression at the bottom has changed from "ferroniere" to "bangle." XXXXX turns the base of his terracotta smelter.
TAP A flash of heat emanates from the smelter as you tap each of the runes that decorate its side in turn. A flash of heat emanates from the smelter as XXXXX taps each of the runes that decorate it in turn.

Tier 2

At Tier 2, the Mini-Smelter can also make chokers, necklaces, and torcs. In addition, it gains access to the ability to PONDER or GLANCE to list all options as well as WHISPER to select individual options more easily.

Usage

Tier 4

At Tier 4, the Mini-Smelter can also make chatelaines, back pendants, rings, and bands.

Analyze

You analyze the terracotta smelter and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

The Mini-Smelter

Here to turn your Duskruin Arena Ore into jewelry, the smelter is part of the "I Dream of Geology Series."

Jewelry Creation Instructions

1. Place a piece of duskruin ore in the smelter
2. RUB a gold wand or CAST (Minor Fire, Fire Spirit, Firestorm, or Templar's Verdict) at the smelter

The smelter is tier 4 out of 4.

Tips and Tricks

1. PONDER at the smelter to see all article options
2. GLANCE at the smelter to see all noun options
3. WHISPER to the smelter to set them

Jewelry Options: bangle, ferroniere, choker, necklace, torc, armband, circlet, crown, pectoral, chatelaine, back pendant, ring, band

Current Jewelry: bangle

Alterations: You may alter the smelter, but it must remain of an appropriate design and material to represent a miniature smelting device. It has a stock LOOK, therefore it can only support a LONG description.

Jewelry

Jewelry created by the Mini-Smelter is initially scripted to allow the addition of a gemstone for ornamentation. Once a gemstone has been added to the jewelry, it becomes unscripted. Unscripted (gem-adorned) jewelry made by the Mini-Smelter can have a script applied to it by Jeweler's Pliers.

Each type of jewelry made by the Mini-Smelter has different set options available for gemstone ornamentation.

Analyze

Usage

Verb First Third
SPIN Spinning the torc around, you contemplate the possible designs and feel that if you added a gemstone to the torc then you could create a gold torc ending in <gemstone noun>-eyed avian heads. XXXX briefly fiddles with a gold torc.
Cycles between gemstone adornment options for the jewelry type.
TAP
(torcs only)
Tapping the end caps of your gold torc, you contemplate the possible designs and feel that if you added a gemstone to the torc then you could create a gold torc ending in <gemstone noun>-eyed gryphon heads. XXXXX briefly fiddles with a gold torc.
Cycles between head options for torcs only.
PUSH
Requires Confirmation
You hold your golden moonstone up against a gold torc, contemplating adding it to the torc in the hopes of creating a gold torc ending in moonstone-eyed gryphon heads.

*** If you would like to add a golden moonstone to a gold torc to create a gold torc ending in moonstone-eyed gryphon heads then PUSH a gold torc again within the next 30 seconds while holding a golden moonstone. Please remember that this will destroy a golden moonstone. ***

XXXXX holds his golden moonstone up against a gold torc, contemplating the two items for several seconds.
PUSH
Confirmed
Swirling with arcane energy, your gold torc seems to come alive in your hand as it pulls a golden moonstone from your other hand. Ribbons of various hues swirl about the two, but as the energy fades you are left with a gold torc ending in moonstone-eyed gryphon heads. Ribbons of swirling energy encompass XXXXX's hands, obscuring the torc and the moonstone that he is holding. When the swirling hues subside, only a gold torc ending in moonstone-eyed gryphon heads remains in his hands.
Permanently adds the gemstone as ornamentation to the jewelry. Jewelry becomes unscripted.
