Delirium Manor/2017

Return to Delirium Manor took place June 16-25, 2017. Whax dolls returned as the major prize, as well as 600 new different doll accessories. The event also introduced automated lightening and deepening via certificates in the prize feeder, and general event tickets.

Information

Delirium Manor can be accessed from anywhere in town via QUEST TRANSPORT DELIRIUM.

The dollhouse itself was located in the Hearthstone Manor courtyard.

The whimsically decorated dollhouse is elaborately detailed, down to the tiniest embellishment on its miniature facade.  Artistically painted shutters hug the pale blue clapboard siding.  The roofing is scalloped clay tiles, the color of gingerbread, with a feathering of white paint along the gables.  Surrounding the house is a green lawn, a few small buildings scattered about its manicured design.  At the end of a path leading from the dollhouse sits an iron gate and a miniature toy chest.  Inside the elaborate dollhouse you see miniature versions of everyone searching the Manor.

Toymaker Whax stands next to the dollhouse.

Dressed in a tailored, red velvet jacket with a wide lapel and a tall black satin hat, this heavyset man puffs incessantly on a thick, pungent cigar.  A broad smile lends even more roundness to his already pudgy red cheeks.

"Fascinating things, those," says Toymaker Whax with a slight twinkle in his eye.  "One never knows what can be accomplished with a mind for the macabre, a hunger for knowledge, and an appreciation for flesh.  After all, we are merely vessels that preserve our soul."

How to Play

Entries can be purchased from the SimuCoin Store or for silvers from other players.

Hold a pass in hand and GO DOOR on the front porch of the Manor. SEARCH different rooms of the Manor to find hidden treasure. Many unwanted items can be sold to wandering automated NPCs for general tickets.

[Delirium Giftshop, Front Room]
A stuffed pony, outfitted with a brushed leather saddle and secured to a curved wooden base, rocks back and forth as visitors pass through this fancifully decorated entryway. Long streamers of vividly colored satin hang from the ceiling, some dangling tiny crystalline spheres that spin slowly. A green and white striped curtain drapes across a wide opening, and a wire basket hangs nearby on the wall.

These keys are ONLY for dolls with an appropriate key slot.  If you are unsure, LOOK at your doll to see if one exists.  If it does not have one, don't buy a key!  Each key will wind-up the doll for a period of time.

A wide and colorful banner proclaims, "~Get Your Souvenirs Here~" from its prominent spot along the back wall. To one side is a souvenir-filled bookcase, complete with a line of stuffed blue bunnies perched along the base and positioned to stare up at the showcased goods. In the middle of the space rests an elongated carved maple toychest, its lid flung open to better display its contents.
