Meathrix Veythorne Illistim

Meathrix Veythorne Illistim was the legendary mage of the Veythorne family who founded the Elemancers of House Illistim.

These would come to be the most elite practitioners of elemental magic in the known world, serving as bodyguards of the Argent Mirror as well as diplomats or wielders of massive force. It is not clear when Meathrix lived, or which Argent Mirror allowed the Elemancers to form. The Veythorne family would go on to become some of the greatest researchers of the elemental planes as well as the summoning magic associated with it.

The upright black marble stone bears within its center shadow-carved pictographic symbols representing the elements of earth, fire, water and air.  Shrouding these symbols is a carved inlay decoration of intertwined streamers.  At its base is a bronze plaque, now green with age.

There appears to be something written on it.
