Welcome to the Duskruin Arena Mania Event!  Following are instructions and rules regarding this event.  Please read carefully, and do not buy items if you are unsure what they do, who can use, or how this event works.  Most importantly, have fun!  This is meant to be enjoyable for everyone.

What Is This Event?
This is the Duskruin Mania event which showcases a number of high-end items that will be auctioned.  Items and pricing are not advertised or announced ahead of time.

How Do I Purchase An Item?
Auction items have a showcase period of one (1) minute when they are placed on display by the auctioneer and are only viewable during this time.  All items can be inspected and will display its auction type (manual or reverse).  Items set up for REVERSE auctions can be purchased with BUY.  REVERSE auction items will begin at a preset price and will decrease in cost over a period of time.  If you want to purchase the item for the announced price, you must type BUY [item] TWICE, as there is a confirmation for this.  If your BUY request is successful, the item will move to your hand.  Make sure at least one hand is empty!  USAGE: BUY [item]

How Do I Bid?
Auction items have a showcase period of one (1) minute when they are placed on display by the auctioneer and are only viewable during this time.  All items can be inspected and will display its auction type (manual or reverse).  Items set up for MANUAL auctions can accept BIDs.  The auctioneer will announce the starting bid and after someone has met this, all subsequent bids must be at least 5% of the item's cost.  (If the current bid on an item is 500 bloodscrip, the next bid must be at least 500 + 25.)  Bids can be placed for any amount greater than zero, and the bidder must have this amount available or the bid will not register.  You do not have to type commas in the amount, but using them will not disrupt your bid.  USAGE: BID 500

Is There Reserve Pricing?
There is reserve pricing on items that are presented with no starting price.  This reserve must be met in order for the auction to complete.  If the reserve is not met, the auction for that item will end, and the item will be removed.  Reserve amounts are non-disclosed.

Can I See The Highest Bid On An Item?
Absolutely!  You can ASK AUCTIONEER ABOUT HIGH to see the current highest bid.

What If I Outbid Myself?
Don't worry.  You can't.

How Can I See Information About The Mania Items?
There are a few ways to obtain details for the Mania items.

1. Sit (or stand) in the Mania Shop (New Bids on the Block) to watch for new items and INSPECT any item on the table.
2. DUSKRUIN MANIA will provide the INSPECT details of the item from any location.
3. ESP TUNE MANIA to receive updates as new items are added by the auctioneer.

Is There A List Of All Mania Items?
There are no in-game lists of auctioned items, either past or upcoming.

What If I Change My Mind And Don't Want An Item I Purchased?
There are no refunds for any item.  Make sure that you want an item before you purchase it!

What Happens When The Auctioneer Runs Out Of Items?
When all items have been cycled through for the event, the event will end.  There will not be a replenishment of items.

Are There Any Other Important Tidbits I Need To Know?
All participants must be in the lands in order to win a bid.  If you lose connectivity mid-auction, and you happen to be the highest/winning bid, it will invalidate your win if you are not in-game.  The bidding will continue and revert to the previous bidder.
