Mana Disruption is the most universal Sorcerer Base warding attack spell. It inflicts damage by causing the mana in and around its subject to be violently disturbed. As a result, not all of its effects are visible. Of the two damage cycles inflicted, one is obvious and lists the precise amount of hitpoint loss. The line of text appearing immediately before it displays the amount of damage in the form of one of fourteen phrases. Use the table below to determine roughly how much hitpoint damage your strike inflicted.
The severity of the strike depends heavily on the warding endroll. In addition, targets that are stunned or similarly incapacitated are more susceptible to damage. Likewise, using the CHANNEL command can potentially increase the overall damage. If channeling, more offensive stances as well as having one or both hands empty also have the potential to increase the damage inflicted.
