A blue crystal contains the Minor Spiritual spell Spirit Strike (117). They are usually generated with one charge and can be charged to contain more. They are also crumbly. They can be duplicated using Duplicate (918) when fresh.
Alchemists learn to make a blue crystal at rank 50 in the Trinkets subskill of Alchemy. It is the first recipe that includes the ALCHEMY CHANNEL (verb) and is very important to an Alchemist's training.
