This article title is plural, but it seems like the tradition is to make singular titles for objects, and I'm not really sure of that, just seems to be that way. In the shop, the item is called "a candied ptarmigan feather" and I would like to know what its name should be: "Ptarmigan feathers" (current gswiki article title), "Ptarmigan feather" (singular), or "Candied ptarmigan feather" (current name of the herb in its shop)
(I seem to remember that when I started GS in 1995-ish, this item was called "a rock ptarmigan feather" (or maybe "some rock ptarmigan feathers"?) or something similar, can anyone confirm that as a piece of historic info? Does anyone know when/why the name change occurred?) Thanks. -Soliere FIRENSIA (talk) 17:47, 16 January 2020 (CST)
- Per the style guide, if something is singular in game then the article title should be singular Help:Style#Article_titles--ECHEAUX (talk) 17:53, 16 January 2020 (CST)
- Thanks ECHEAUX, that is very helpful. So if I am reading they style guide correctly, then the name of this article should be "Candied ptarmigan feather"(?). Would anyone like to do this? I am very unsure of myself, where it concerns major changes to an existing page. Help much appreciated. Thanks in advance. -Soliere FIRENSIA (talk) 02:49, 11 February 2020 (CST)
