Town clerics are NPCs who can raise a fallen adventurer from the dead, usually for a price. Their services are not as effective as player clerics, but are usually preferred over decaying when no other clerics can be found.
To make use of a town cleric, the body must be dragged to the room where the town cleric is, and the dead should ASK {CLERIC} FOR RAISE, or ASK {CLERIC} FOR RESURRECTION.
The cost of using a town cleric is:
- Under level 10: 2,000 silvers.
- Levels 10-20: 6,000 silvers
- Above level 20: 10,000 silvers
Cost for citizens is half off the base price. If you are a diseased corpse, there is a plague surcharge of 5,000 silvers.
Exception: Saltwater Sal in River’s Rest follows her own rules.
