Enhancive Bonuses

Different skill and stat bonus require a different number of badge upgrades. For example, a badge will be able to enhance climbing bonus by 10 long before it can enhance combat maneuvers bonus by the same amount.

  • Level 3 - lapis lazuli, platinum, ivory
  • Level 4 - ora, faenor, invar
  • Level 5 - alexandrite, gornar, alum
  • Level 6 - drakar, zorchar, mithglin
  • Level 7 - glaes, rhimar, laje
  • Level 8 - vaalorn, razern, vaalin
  • Level 9 - rolaren, eonake, kelyn
  • Level 10 - veniom, golvern, eahnor

Material

  • Level 0 - rat-hide, ceramic, linen
  • Level 1 - leather, kobold skin, maoral
  • Level 2 - bronze, goblin skin, or silk
  • Level 3 - suede, orc pelt, snakeskin
  • Level 4 - steel, granite, ebonwood
  • Level 5 - spidersilk, troll hide, ironwood

Device

  • Level 0 - a single coin, a nicked dagger, a magic wand
  • Level 1 - several coins, a rusty sword, or a small crystal
  • Level 2 - a small stack of coins, a sharp falchion, an ancient scroll
  • Level 3 - a modest pile of coins, a flanged mace, an old staff
  • Level 4 - a glittering gem, a pointy pike, a rune-inscribed amulet
  • Level 5 - a bulging moneybag, a pair of crossed broadswords, a jewel-encrusted ring
  • Level 6 - several precious stones, a mighty longbow, a large crystal orb
  • Level 7 - a silver bar, an engraved battle axe, an artifact surrounded by sparks of energy
  • Level 8 - a chest full of jewels, a gleaming war hammer, an arcane spellbook
  • Level 9 - a triangular stack of silver bars, a deadly flamberge, an orb-capped runestaff
  • Level 10 - gleaming piles of silver and jewels, a flaming longsword, a powerful burst of magical energy

Motif

  • Level 0 - a worn pair of hiking boots, a snarling rat, a knapsack full of supplies
  • Level 1 - a fleeing kobold, a skinning knife, or a walking stick
  • Level 2 - a cowering orc, a patched traveler's cloak, a pack mule
  • Level 3 - a howling troll, a piece of an old map, an old leather saddlebag
  • Level 4 - a confused ogre, a long dusty trail, a long-maned riding horse
  • Level 5 - a drooling spider, a tarnished compass, a rusty mining cart
  • Level 6 - an evil spirit, a crossed shovel and pick, a graceful stallion
  • Level 7 - a clicking kiramon, an X-marked treasure map, a package-laden carriage
  • Level 8 - a raging golem, an extended telescope, a rugged dwarven juggernaut
  • Level 9 - a prancing ki-lin, a towering haunted castle, a tall sailing ship

Concealing the Badge

One can conceal the badge from others without removing it using COVER, and reveal it again using PULL.

You tuck away your ceramic badge, hiding it from view.

You are wearing a copper-bound ceramic badge tucked away in your clothing and an orange prison jumpsuit.

You reveal your ceramic badge, which was tucked away.
