An Orb Staff is a scripted runestaff that typically comes off the shelf with a variety of different flares. They can be unlocked to add fluff verbs. The runestaff was sold at the Feywrot Mire shop, A Fine Line Between, as early as 2012, and has been available at a variety of different festival shops since. Off-the-Shelf/Locked Analyze You take a closer look at a crooked faewood staff capped with a glowing iridescent orb. You analyze the crooked faewood staff and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item type should not change." The creator has also provided the following information: This is a runestaff with a glowing orb. It is not unlocked. When altering, it must always contain a glowing orb in its description. You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the crooked faewood staff for you.
