A new hunting area, The F'Eyrie, was released on on Teras Isle featuring firebirds (level 85), ash guardians (level 87), and blazing red phoenixes (level 90)! To reach the area, you must brave a treacherous climb from the Basalt Flats to the top of the volcano Stormbrow. Don't forget to bring your rhimar blades and fire resistant gear, or these birds and their defenders may just be too hot to handle!
Mechanics
The entire area is subject to spell sever.
Spell sever
Spell sever is a balancing mechanic for hunting areas to manage the amount of outside spells a character can wear in the affected areas. Spell sever will strip any beneficial spells that a character does not know over a maximum allowed limit per area. The order in which the spells are stripped is in random order.
Spells in the Arcane circle(such as Spirit Guard (1712)) are not removed or counted by Spell sever.
Environmental Damage
The extreme heat of this area causes environmental damage. The Ranger spell Resist Elements (602) seems to completely negate the damage.
It seems to be concussion damage rather than fire or other critical:

The damage scales the longer you are in the area, and can become quite punishing:
The constant stinging heat saps away your strength. ... 93 points of damage!
Leaving the area causes the scaling of the damage to fall off, and it seems that the higher the scaling, the longer it takes to fall off.
You feel recovered from the terrible onslaught of heat.
If you return to the area before recovering, the damage will continue scaling.
