Subject: Hybrid Casting Changes
After much discussion of how to make casting of other circles more attractive for sorcerers, it was decided to allows hybrids a greater contribution from all of their known spells to any circle in an associated sphere. This means that all of a sorcerer's known Sorcerer and Minor Elemental spells will now contribute normally to their Minor Spiritual CS, just as a cleric's knowledge of their Cleric and Minor Spirit spells will contribute to their Major Spiritual CS.
All hybrids will further benefit when casting spells outside of their known circles. All of a sorcerer's spell ranks will give a secondary contribution to all spells of the Elemental and Spiritual Spheres, including professional circles, empaths will gain a secondary contribution from their spells to any unknown Spirit or Mental circle and bards will do the same for Elemental and Mental Circles.
This does not hold true with the contribution of a hybrid caster's spells to another hybrid circle.
I want to give a big thank you to the whole Dev team for putting up with my long-winded arguments, particularly GMs Mestys and Oscuro, one for approving the changes and the other for both support and coding, as well as those of you who did address to us the inequities of hybrid CS.
