History
Barely a trading post, Cold River is the last stand of the halflings who came north across the Long Snow. They are a bleak people. Fully half of them that grow to adulthood give in to the bloodlust of Amasalen and flee into the wilds by night, becoming wendigos or bloodspeakers.
