Moonflower Villa is a private property located at the edge of the Neartofar Forest outside Ta'Vaalor.

This property was auctioned off during Duskruin in August 2022. It is owned by the Ilyan Syndicate and serves as a hub for agricultural commerce for the organization. It is a permanent property with no monthly rent, and includes a node and a wine press. Avawren serves as chatelaine for the property.

Location

[Moonflower Villa, Courtyard]
Packed dirt and loose cobble form an expansive courtyard inside the stockade's fortifications surrounding a small manor house. Plank and post fencing along the east side of the courtyard forms a corral, complete with branding chutes, to contain livestock, while several rows of moonflower vines grow in the moonlight along a carefully maintained path near the western edge leading to a small barn.

>l house

Built of natural riverstone, the boulders have been seamlessly fitted together to create a beautiful, yet formidable, dwelling. Standing two stories tall, upper windows soften the structure's aesthetic, while a banded ironwood door provides the only egress.

>l corral

Just high enough to prevent unwanted escape from any contained animals, this short corral has a wide ledge at the top with a smoothly sanded block secured to its surface, where block letters have been chiseled into the wood to show ownership of the stall.
There are four hooks fastened to a raised board along the front panel. Some dusty soft leather reins hangs on the first hook. The second hook is empty. The third hook is empty. The fourth hook is empty.

>gaze vine

You gaze at a moonflower vine with a practiced eye, noting that you could probably harvest a delicate blue-suffused moonflower, a fragile snowy white moonflower, a sunny-hearted moonflower blossom, a star-throated pure white moonflower, a pristine moonflower, and a heart-shaped hemlock green leaf.

Corral

[Moonflower Villa, Corral]
Packed dirt has been churned up by numerous hooves into an uneven surface dotted with tufts of surviving native grasses. A rough wooden feed trough and a dirty mithril water tank sit near a gate leading to several haystacks. A subtle smell of manure lingers in the air.

>look at trough

Large planks of unsanded wood have been fitted together to form the perfect trough in which to toss hay.

>look at tank

Large and circular, this water tank can easily accomodate several mounts at once.

Main Room

[Moonflower Villa, Parlor]
The smooth flagstone floor flows into rough timber walls hung with numerous tapestries depicting historic events of House Vaalor. A green plaid couch sits facing a large riverstone hearth along the eastern wall, flanked by low timber tables and wingback chairs. A small staircase leads up to a loft near several reinforced windows that allow moonlight to flood the room and supplement the wall mounted lanterns. You also see a banded ironwood door leading out to the courtyard.
Obvious paths: north, up

>look at tapestry

Several scenes flow around the room from one tapestry to another. The founding of Ta'Vaalor, the battle of ShadowGuard, the crowning of King Tyrnian, King Tyrnian's last rites, and the crowning of King Qalinor are just a few of the events depicted.

>look at couch

Green plaid gabardine fabric covers two large cushions and the back of this couch, while large wooden timbers form the legs, back, and arms.

>look at hearth

You see a neatly laid-out pile of wood and tinder awaiting only the application of flame to come to life. Nearby is a small basket with sticks of wood ready to be used to light the fire or to keep it burning.

>look at table

Carved from rough timber, this low table's dark coloring matches the exposed ceiling and wall beams.

>look at chair

Durable beige gabardine fabric is partially covered with a soft green plaid flannel throw.

Kitchen

[Moonflower Villa, Kitchen]
A rough plank table and highback chairs sit atop an intricate Nalfein rug, covering the center of the smooth grey flagstone floor. Several hooded lanterns hang from the rough timber walls, adding to the moonlight illuminating the area. A cast iron pot belly stove sits in the northeastern corner and a gnomish clockwork wine press in the northwestern corner, surrounding a small shuttered window in the northern wall.
Obvious paths: south

>look at table

Large enough to seat a halfling family, this table has been made from rough planks fitted together and sanded smooth on top. Legs, with bark still attached, that were obviously once tree trunks support the dining surface.

>look at stove

Crafted from cast iron, the natural black color is accented by polished silver hardware. A round firebox with grated door adds to the overal charm of the device. A circular drakar plate tops the stove, a banded circle of flowing runes running along its edge. The grate on the pot belly stove is closed.

>look at press

Built of a mismatch of gears and cogs, several highly polished metal "foot-shaped" pounders have been affixed to a large camshaft over an aged oak barrel. A small crank juts out to one side.

>look at window

Gazing through the small window, the manor's surroundings spring to life. Tufted grass sprouts amid hard packed dirt and cobble before a large red barn and a few smaller outbuildings.

Loft

[Moonflower Villa, Loft]
Built into the peak of the dwelling, exposed beams support the aromatic cedar planks that serve as both ceiling and walls to this cozy loft. An elevated wooden bed and a simple plank wardrobe have been built into the southern wall beneath a large bay window flooding the room with moonlight, while a compact wood burning stove in the corner provides warmth to the area.
Obvious paths: down

>look at bed

Built directly into the wall, this bed has no visible means of support. A heavy plaid flannel quilt atop the bed matches the underlying green cotton sheets perfectly.

>look at wardrobe

Tall and skinny, rough planks of hawthorn have been sanded smooth and fitted together to create this wardrobe. Built into the wall, it is deceptively larger than it appears.

>look at window

You gaze through the bay window and see...
