Usage

Thump

A vein in your forehead starts pulsing.

You notice a vein pulsing in XXX's forehead.

Thump self:

You rub your eyes.

XXX rubs her eyes.

Thump person:

You thump XXX.

XXX thumps you

Behind the Scenes

In the past, thump was used as a deterrent for bad behavior. A character of sufficiently higher level than an offending character could use thump to incapacitate. This functionality has since been remove.

XXX thumps you! The blow catches you square in the solar plexus! You double over, gasping for air.
